Wonderfully said. The only prerequisite for atheism is theism. Theism is defining of a believe in a monotheistic god, not the existence of one. If you have a problem with a post, report it. In the meantime you do need to acknowledge the facts above as they have been presented to you if you plan to continue this discussion
Please, please, please tell me that you know that there were religions before christianity (and the bible) and that there are religions that have "evolved" without inflluences from the bible. If you can not accept this fact, there is no need for any discussion with you as you clearly is a fundamentalist christian without the will or capacity to accept any truth outside the fiction of a book with unclear origin (that would be the bible).
If I have a problem with a post I think it's best to bring it to the attention of the one that posted it. It may have been a misguided comment or an unintended one. Who knows? However, best to point it out to the one who posted it just in case he may do it to someone who may see it differently. That's just my opinion though.

Back to the logic thing: I can't see why you got so annoyed with my comment. To me it's as logical as day light. What is illogical is how someone who is a Jew (descendant of Abraham) claims there is no God (while at the same time claiming to be a descendant of Abraham).

I am saying a denial of God implies his existence. No doubt about it. If God didn't exist the Atheists Inc would not exist. An old Russian guy was asked once by an atheist: "How can you believe in God? Have you ever seen God?" The old Russian guy replied: "I have never seen God in my life. I have also never seen a Japanese in my life either, but I know that Japanese exist because our Russian army fought them in the war. I know God exists because you atheists are always fighting to disprove His existence." The Jews are the ONLY race or group of people that can trace (at least theoretically) their origin back to Abraham. I am not Jewish but If I convert to Judaism it doesn't make me a Jew or my kids Jewish. When someone says he's a Jew it means (whether he is religious or not) that he is a descendant of Abraham. So I can't understand how on one hand you can say you're a descendant of Abraham, admitting foremost that yes you are a descendant of this dude, and at the same time say you don't believe in God. This is the part that puzzles me. It's a bit like pick and choose. I don't understand what's so hard for you to see.

Absolutely. There are many, many atheists who get together all with one single purpose which is to disprove the existence of God. It is obvious the denial revolves around the existence of the God of the Bible and not around the existence of a fairy tale. There are many scientific facts that cannot be explained without the explanation of there being a Creator. Yes, I will repeat my claim: No God, no atheist. Surely something that does not exist could not cause so many to join Atheists Inc. I think he is headed for the dust bin of history along with many others. He seems to be a preacher for those who won't accept the Truth of Scripture because of the implied consequences. Again, he is just another one of the many who fight to disprove the existence of God. I don't see anyone who fights so hard to disprove something/someone that doesn't exist. You didn't give me a straight answer. When someone says to you I am Japanese you assume he is either from Japan or has Japanese parents. In simple terms tell me what does it mean to you when someone says: "I'm Jewish.", even though the dude does not have a beard or wears a kiphor.

That's true, proteindude is the worst case I've been witnessing here on DigitalPoint, too close-minded. I found it funny the "singing good songs is a proof that there's a god" and the "if so many people say religion is bullshit and god doesn't exist, that's a proof to me that it exists" and the latest one "if you're jew you're a believer, otherwise you're not a jew". That's fun, but is far remote from any kind of discussion about Chromosome 2. Anyway to me evolution makes a lot of sense, and yes even if it doesn't explain everything as in a book, such as how primitive life appeared on earth, it's much more logical that as humans we wouldn't have answers only hypothesis since we're stuck in our present time and have no way of verifying any hypothesis of the very past. The problem religious seem to have is dealing with uncertainties, they much prefer to believe that everything is in their holy book and what isn't is not there for a reason, god's will That's why I think of religious people as grown up children, who like to feel secure having a parent that will never die and cancels death as the end of life, so solving one more problem they have with being living beings. And religious are quick to deny the right of peaceful afterlife to many: other humans (non believers or misguided ones) as well as most of the other species of animals! That doesn't bother them, it makes the mind-dumbing rules of religion easier to follow, the promise that they're getting it and not the others.
I think you are right DevilHellz. I'm sure most of the time he just pretends to not understand because that gives him an excuse to continue to be wrong.
