What he means is, the music is techno, yet somewhat calm enough to listen to while going to bed. House is just like trance, but with more dance beats. Not as hard as hardstyle, and not as slow as trance.
And for login, I think you need to explore some more techno. Not all techno is commercialized. There are several songs that are actually very pleasant. Like ATB - Ecstasy, DHT - Listen to your heart, and Cascada - Ready for love. I encourage you to listen, and expand your MIND, not your heart. Because the heart is nice, but it's nothing with out mind.
Dharma, I think you mean The Prodigy. They got me started listening to techno when I heard their music from the movie Hackers.
Used to like trance ALOT back then.. so I understand it when they say they can get to sleep while listening to techno/trance music.. There is different sub-genres of Trance. Eg. Uplifting Trance, Hard Trance, Psy Trance, Progressive Trance, etc.
