I want to promote site for adult dating, but if in my country adult sites are forbidden, is it possible adult dating to be associated with adult site?
Sites that I want to promote are fling.com and adultfriendfinder.com

I will NOT host any adult images.

And that site for adult dating is not my, I only getting paid for sending them traffic(for lead or/and affilliate).

    Thank you in advance

I would say that "adult dating" means it's an adult site. If it's not an adult site it will just be called a dating site.

Those two sites both look to me like they would have adult content ... discussion of things that you wouldn't want a kid to see.

Not the answer you wanted to hear I guess ... but if adult sites were prohibited in my country I would definitely not put banners for those two on my site. If you host any kind of banner you are hosting an image from an adult site (even if you are not hosting an adult image).

Whether you can put text links probably depends whether it is forbidden to promote adult sites in your country, or only to host them. A question for a lawyer in your country.

    Thanks for fast answer

My problem is not adult content in mjy sites, only that I accept checks from these companies.
I do not promote tham with web sites.I promote them with video(without any adult content on it.)
And again I don't promote porn sites.

    Is that problem?

    Hello,
Of course an adult dating is different than adult sex content, there are adult supplies, maybe guns, there are adult car accessories, adult movie tickets, all these have the word adult, but they are not sex related, i dont understand if you can understand my idea....

What you're saying is that an adult dating site is not a porn site. Sure. But there is sex content on those sites, posted by the people who are there looking for sex, which is what the sites are there for. So I think that a country that bans adult sites would ban these ... adult sites.

Adult movie tickets would be sex related surely? An "adult movie" is a porn movie. A movie on general release that is limited to people over 18 due to violent content or whatever is not called an "adult movie". So would adult car accessories ... I guess that would be something like seat covers with pictures of naked women on them. Nobody talks about "adult guns". It's a question of English usage. "Adult" has come to mean sex-related in this context.

Think about it ... what else could "adult dating" mean except sex? There no "child dating" sites (I hope!) Dating sites that are not for people offering sex are just called dating sites, even though they probably restrict membership to people over 18.

Cool. Sounds like you're probably OK then. ;)

I still think you should ask a lawyer in your country to be sure. But only because I don't want you blaming me if anything goes wrong.

Im not sure but maybe I think adult dating sites are still considered an adult one just like the others. Only 18+ could join and they promote something that is still related to sex, i think it will still be forbidden in your country.. Same as in our country, we cant have those kind of sites...

Thenk you very much for answers

    But...

Can you tell me if any country do not allow adult sites, what does it mean?

In my case I promote adult sites NOT in my country, but world-wide.

So I rediarect person that is from US(for example), to site that is hosted in US.(I DO NOT host any adult images, only text links.)

I'm hosting my sites(that rediarect to that site), in US hosting companies. So the only problem for me(if it is exist), is that I receice my checks in my country, and I get the money from bank in my country. So can I expect problems for that?
(I won't have problem for my sites, because I don't use hosting in my country.)

    Thank you in advance.

Maybe if you post which country you are in, somebody from your country may be able to help you. It seems to me that you have 2 questions:

    (a) is what you are doing against the law? You need somebody who knows the laws of your country to tell you that.

    (b) if it is against the law, are you likely to get caught? I would think no ... but it depends how strict they are.

Not allowing adult sites means different things in different countries.

It is obviously a good thing that your checks are coming from two completely non-adult sites anyway :)

Thats actually a really good question because would a web site that shows you how to drive a car or fly a plane be considered an adult site?

Is an adult site that displays a warning that only people over a certain age can access the site be considered an adult site?

We are talking in legal terms here right?

Just becasue "adult" is commonly associated on the internet with items of a sexual nature sexual and the such, it does not mean it cannot be argued that it can apply to any site aimed at adults (in this case dating).

What I am saying is that when a service provider (adsense, clickbank etc) mention in their terms and conditions that "adult" sites are not allowed, they should really define a little better what they consider an "adult" site to be. (ie: "we dont consider dating sites to be an adult site but dating sites wth pornographic images are not allowed")

If a service provider has mentioned in their terms and conditions that "adult" sites are permitted or not permitted and you are not sure what they mean, you need to ask them to explain it a little better.

However, 9 times out of 10 they will have a clause in their terms saying something like "we reserve the right to amend these terms at anytime with out informing you", so even if they define it at some point and decide to change it later and you are now breaking the rules according to their latest terms, you are screwed anyway.
