With the recent Target Hits made so far in the Q4 update have a BIG impact on Google users?? Will you jump ship??

    Does Google care??

There's no poll to vote but --> I can't say I'm loyal to Google and won't change.... shift happens. If something better and more beneficial comes out, like everything else in life, I will switch.

I think Google is positioned for something major to go wrong. Will they ever disappear, no. Will they always be the giant they are now....I can't say. When a company grows at the pace they have grown at, something is bound to go wrong logistically.

I know this is a poor comparison, but if a wheat farmer all of a sudden decides to start farming apples, potatoes, corn, soybeans, and beets he won't be able to focus as much on the wheat. Sure overall he has a bigger yield or product, but is bigger better? I personally prefer shopping at small Main St shops than Big Box Marts.

Well there is the 1st GREAT Point!!

There are acually 2 very big competitors and alot of us use to be very loyal to them.....Y....until Google came around!!

What was all of this for so far, just to get Great Webmasters and HUGE forums such as DP to make them, put them in the spotlight and then chop the people off at the knees who helped make them??? Hmmm, I wonder!!

You are starting to watch TV shows that have people in the show making references about Google so now they are clearly a household name so now they just KILL the people that helped them get to be who they are?? Bah!!!

I have friend who sells mail order items and he usually advertises in a BIG newspaper in Chicago which costs a small fortune and his Ad Rep told him that they also own like 3800 little newpapers aound the USA and it was very cost effective!! He took his advice and his business went WAY UP!!

Should these smaller newspapers be penalized for that in the newspaper industry in some way??? oh, I forgot, newspapers are FREE SPEECH publications to where Google is NOT!

Maybe that is not the exact scenario as paid advertisng, or paid links but it sounds pretty close to me!!! How are people supposed to advertise their site, subscribe to all of the Google programs perhaps???

Google is not going to get hurt because it lowered everybody's PR. You have to understand why people use Google and its services. People use Google services because they are useful. It provides values to its users. Yes, Google makes a ton of money from small and large publishers. People who are not in Web site or AdSense business, they really don't care if somebody's PR went up or down. And 99.9% Google users are in that category.

I have a few things to say about that!

    1. Do we the Webmasters only account for .001 of the Google population?? If so, I was in the wrong place anyways!!

    2. Is Google the ONLY one that is allowed to make money in the Internet with advertising because all advertising sites are NOT designed to manipulate the Internet!!??

    3. Sites cost money to provide good content with server and hosting fees, not to mention the time involved in setting them up, unless the Internet is just supposed to be filled with a HUGE retail market that have money to support their site!! And if a Good Content site gets huge traffic, who pays for that bandwidth?? it is pretty expensive to handle that kind of bandwidth, just ask DP!!

Google collects plenty of money to support their bandwidth cost!!

I'm not loyal to Google, they just provide a useful service. I don't care about PR but I do care about relevant SERP results when I search for something, not some MFA crap site that bought its PR. I see it as a possitive move, so I'll go for option number 5 ... I will continue using Google. ;)

You people need to stop talking nonsense. You will not stop using google .... or any other of those unrealistic options in the poll. There's nothing you can do. You will continue using google and you will like it !

Well I agree with you on the MFA stuff for sure, so would you say that your opinion is to not submit your site to a popular Niche, relevant site to possibly get your site seen by people or to get in a better place in the engines??

How would you suggest to get some quality traffic to your website in Google??

What do you do excactly for your sites?? Can you share??

This is not about loyalty, it is ultimately about who pays more.

It would be good to have an option for "Stay with google - no change", thay way you can see a percentage of opinions for and against google.
