Todays sizzle I have google.com in my directory.. will this drop too!

i dont it think maters much it the sites that act like the old link farms and the sites that have high pr that sell lots of links at a very high price and that lets there pr slip in to the sites listed with them. google dont mind buying links as long as it site related and the site does not have more then 100 links per page all so the sites that sell links so you gain pr those days have gone for good now goolge want site owners linking to sites that they like that have usefull content or products that web owners want to share with there surfers. The google dance is geting harder yes there so many factors that we all must understand and from yahoo to msn live to some of the big asia search engines all we can do as webmasters and site owners is follow the rules and we all be ok Now if you want to be in google then follow the google seo dance if not then yahoo all the way.

And if you use googles webmasters products then you have more chance of getting listed faster

It would be really nice if was true.

I know enough penalized sites never sellin', buying links, never having not related links, having unique and valuable content.
Even myself have few sites where I never sold or paid for a link.
And from sometime it's also penalized with another deep filter.

Result is that on pupular keyword I check in TOP10 I found 3 x MFA, 2x nearly empty not actualized sites, 1 x flash movie, 1 x wikipedia, and only 3 related websites but with poor in content.

The problem is we cannot follow Google rules as it's so unpredictable and in fact we do not know what current rules are.

And it looks like microsoft might very well be in the billions for the investment.

We shall see what happens tomorrow with Microsoft stock...

I know what you mean dargre. But Google has its Guidelines. It's their website. They run the show. When you type the site it says Google.

It's simple then stop using Google so there won't be a problem. Optimize or do the job through Yahoo, MSN or Ask or any search engine.
