It seems a lot of people have been going on and on about the next page rank update. I've seen wild conspiracy theories, to the simple just wait it out. I made this poll to see where people stand when it comes to the so called pagerank obsession. Please don't forget to leave a response why you vote for what you did. :D

I personally don't follow my pagerank at all for any of my websites.

Serps and traffic make money, not PR.

    Unless you are selling links.

By all the latest posts right now it seems blogs are getting hit the hardest. I think this might be because they did the most text link selling tho.

Did you buy or sell text links?

Are your backlinks from sites that buy or sell text links?

Answer yes to either of those and you should expect to see a pr drop, it will not show what it should be and not from paid for pr.

I don't care about PR as long as I get good traffic from SERPs.
Apparently Google is playing a mind game with all PR lovers. :)
Come on Google show them some love.

PR nowadays have no impact. It doesn't give you traffic, and it is not considered as a money-maker.

Text links not using the ref="nofollow" decieve the pagerank system and SERPs.

Could care less about PR. And most internet marketers I would think would agree. The important things to worry about are ROI and getting targetted traffic.

PR is just a badge that people wear to brag about.

Well I can't avoid checking it daily since I have the firefox' Search status installed. Otherwise I don't really care - as said above its the targeted traffic what's important.
However, since I am working and for other sites except my own ones, I care for their PR because the site owners get depressed when loosing 1 point of PR...no matter their traffic is still growing, as well as their sales...
