Not to change the subject but link in yout signiture for worpress themes is broken. You are missing a letter in the URL.
You must be joking. Latitudes live and breath compatibility, there is no way they would have problems with Vista. Toshiba are good, Sony make ridiculously overpriced machines, HP is OK but not as good as Dell.
xp is good for now but we must also follow technology as one day the older softwares will have no support just like now win95 and 98 (not sure) has no support from microsoft.
i just installed vista last weekend and so far it looks nice and works well just had one minor glitch with the video card driver, had to install a less recent version for my videos to display properly
The missus has an XPS and it kicks ass, Core2Duo , 2GB memory, 200gb HD, 17" screen, dedicated GTX nvidia Graphics etc. etc.. ok it is £2,000.00 piece of kit, but boy does it fly!
BTW there Latitude desktops are known to cause problems. Just not as much as their notebooks which are made from cheap materials with expensive price tags.
Have you ever used a Latitude? Can you link me to reliable sources confirming what you have just said? What do you consider an "expensive price tag"?
Dell Dell 2 While these articles are from last year (I can get more recent ones) it shows my main point. Dell is not innovation like HP and Toshiba. Its basically a MicroTel byproduct.
I run Vista both at work and at home and have had no problems. I am not running on a top spec either. Most people just love to moan about the milli second difference in the time it take their porn to load. *lame*
True, true. Most of the people here who hate Vista has slower run time with XP but since they expected Vista to be light speed they say its no good.
yeah if your into hacking, warez, viruses, rootkits, spyware and alike. persoanlly I can afford the £100.00 for vista ultimate and a kick ass machine, and think it's cheaper than leaving my machine open to infection from these dubious, criminally minded warez projects.
I didn't say they were innovative, because they aren't, I said they are reliable and they work, that's what I want. If they were innovative, I wouldn't buy them. Even better, I can afford £100 for Vista ultimate but I also have the brains not to bother. Why not spend that extra £100 (actually, more like £400) on something useful instead?
