No changes yet. I believe that Google is still in their penalty dispensing phase. When all of the penalties have been meted out, look for a full export to the Google toolbar of PageRank. This is getting interesting.... I mentioned Copyblogger's hit on my blog this morning; I hadn't realized that the penalty process was so protracted and deep until I logged on to DP.
There are people reporting that the PageRank is done. I doubt that; I believe that Google is finishing up the penalty phase and will be exporting the adjusted PageRank for all websites to the toolbar at any moment. Then again, we've been waiting to see this happen for the past three months. Never mind!
unfortunately all my PR0 are still unchanged despite heavy marketing..... have yet to hear any PR0 sites gaining PR.
Yesterday I was checking PR of my sites. I had PR1 on one of it (didn't really market it). It went down to PR0 but today it is back to PR1. Strange things are going on
i concur. and we still don't know if we've seen the last of the downward adjustments. as far as i can tell there were at least two big ones. one thing that i am wondering about is, are these downward adjustments manual tweaks, or have they been incorporated into the automated algorithm which spits out pagerank? perhaps we will see a downgrade which penalizes bad websites before every toolbar PR update. perhaps things will go back to the way they were, with a single update every now and then. my guess, the downgrading is a separate process, and will be kept as such.
