Hello, Please check my blog www.sherytiger.com It is opening fine in FireFox, But when i am opening it in IE, The layouts are coming brokenly. Please tellme what do to? P.S:- If this is not the correct section to post this issue, Redirect this thread to the correct category!
It looks like the only things out of wack are in the bottom of your sidebar. Do you hard code those items in? Are you using a sidebar widget? I've found if you are using a sidebar widget and then you hard code stuff in it wacks it all out. I would suggest using a sidebar widget if you aren't already. Put the Rss Feed logo and the book mark button in a text box inside the sidebar widget. If I'm not making any sense, just PM me.
I'll tell you what the problem is because I get the same crap when I put code on my template or sidebar. The images you insert, such as your RSS READER ICON can be too big sometimes than the sidebar can contain. Some themes have the ability to compress it but most of them don't, which is why they use widgets. What you can do (keeping the code), is to change the big images that break your sidebar apart, by making them smaller.
I sent you a PM. Here's what I sent you via PM just in case someone else is dealing with this same problem. I had a similar problem with this site: http://webpuffs.net/compassion/ I first hard coded The flickr badge, contact part, the donate button. It wacked it all out. What you need to do is go into the admin click presentation, then widgets. 1st thing you need to do is scroll down until you see Text widgets. It asks: How many text widgets would you like? Put the amount that you will need. I'm using 3. because I have 3 items that I placed in the text widgets. Under available widgets text1 text2 etc etc will show up. Drag and drop these where you want them on your side bar widget On text 1 click on the icon on the right on that widget. Paste in necassary code. For example the logo you see on my sidebar that is over the pages I pasted my html code needed in. When you are done close the text 1 box and then click on save changes. It should be all good. Your image sizes aren't the problem since the bg images under your category heading is wider than the RSS image.
