a site with 300 visitors a day - how much can i make

How much can one make daily with a informational website that would have 300 unique visitors a day?
Is $6-8 possible or rather no chance?

If you have a decent CTR (5% or 7%) and your keywords pay something in the $0.xx I would say $3 to $4.

This of course without knowing anything about your website. You newbies always think were God or something and we know everything.

i am not a newbie.
simply, never started an adsense site and would like to know how much i can get from setting up one with little effort put into promotion.
it would be a sailing site. will start with about 20-30 unique, top-quality informational content pages and will be adding about 0,5-2 per day during the first 6-10 months.

 

I say mybe around $3/day

 

i think $3/day is also quite high. thats just with some of my experience, used to make less than a dollar on site gettin 100 uniques a day. but it all depends on number of clicks e.t.c.

 

That totally depends on the type of user on the site. Tech users click ads less, since they're used to them and they mentally block them out, fishing for the meat on the page (I'm like that). General community sites within general interest topics sometimes get better clickthru, it's almost impossible to judge.

I've got a site with 7000 page impressions a day and I barely make a dollar from two ad units strategically placed (yes, they are in the right place). Try it out, only way to find out...

Based on my personal experience, 300 visitors per day can average into $1.50 to $2 daily.

Obviously, there are many factors such as your site's general theme (keywords) and ad placements, but just looking at the channel #'s for 2 sites I have that average around 300 visitors per day this is where they're at.

- your site related color combination then you got more click
- your site have good contain
- site title , metakeyword, desc, and site contain is good then you got more

-week off you got less click and less trafic ,
-some time mey be your have Click rate high then you got more $ per click
-some time 10 click and you got only 0.30 $ and some time 3 click and 3 $

 

I make aprox. $4 per 300 views, but it really depends on your sites subject.

It seems to me that to get $10 a day from adsense, one requires some 1000 visitors a day. That's a lot of people visiting the website. Sounds very bad. One can easily make $200 a day from properly done affiliation with that number of visitors. It is strange one would stick to Adsense.

 

You can't make an estimate like that just based on visitors.
For example, I have a site with over 500 uniques a day and it makes less than one that only gets 40.

 

It really depends on a lot of factors, here are 2 sites I have that have what I consider strange numbers, but, very consisitent. Site 1 is a 3 page website, Site 2 is a Forum site with 100's of pages indexed. These averages are straight off my Adsense report since Nov 1st.

Site 1 - Averages
16 Page Impressions
4 Clicks
Earnings $1.51

Site 2 - Averages
2,226 Page Impressions
0 Clicks
Earnings $ .20

 

I made around $3 to $4 for my wallpaper site for around 1300 impressions.. after rearrange the ads... and change to a more attactive theme

 

It mainly depends on the keyowrds that are on your site as google adsense has contextual advertisements. Also the CTR, if it is around 5 to 10% then you can get that $6 or $8 per day. But again CTR and Keyowrds both matters here.

With 300 uniques you should make $4.35 a day. Seriously though it depends on a lot of factors, including the subject matter of your pages.

 

It all depends on your site niche. Also if these 300 visitors are from SE then you can make more but if the visitors are not coming from SE then less

 

the content matters here and the way its laid out , just make sure that the ads are at the most appealing places and you shall get the fruit for that idea .. be careful with high CTR rates, anything above 4 is a BIG NO better to earn less than to earn nothing!

 

I think content is a bigger factor than visitors. I have a site that gets very little traffic, and not that many clicks, but the clicks pay very well. It is not making $10 a day, but if I got the traffic up I am sure it would do at least that.
