Marty provides good service. Within an hour of my posting in his thread I received emails from SE's seeking confirmation. He also provided me with a list of sites that submissions were received by and not received by. Ok well I did say world wide however I think you'll agree it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand them. Basically there just confirmation emails to ensure they are not dealing with bots etc... I think in all cases the confirmation link is within the first few line of text as standard.
