Moneybookers users please help me. URGENT !!

i need help from indian users of moneybookers or anyone who knows how to handle the situation.
i still have not yet got my voter id card ( Lazy people here dont make one so easily.. )
can i just send moneybookers a jpg image of photocopy of my college iCard ?
is that good enough ? or anything else to send ?
they have also asked for address verification.. but my moneybookers address is already verified.. what to do ?
i tbink i can handle the rest of the questions from moneybookers.. but i need help on the above questions..

anyone ?

requirements for different countries, can vary. I found moneybooker best. You should provide as and what they are asking you. I had no problem in any process with them, as i go step by step and provide all information and documents they ask to provide

what do you want us to tell you?

Usually they ask for

-National ID card;
-drivers license;
-passport

so that they can check your photo, date of birth and verify if the information inserted is correct, if you don't have any of these i found it very hard to verify your account, and one advice, do this quickly because usually their customer service is very slow and you can wait many days

 

You just try talking to them. They would tell you what to do. Tell them to wait for sometime, as you are expecting a mail delivery of your Card. Other Details could be delivered I suppose. Just one advise though, don't fake anything, or you'll be saying goodbye to your Money forever.

 

unfortunately i dont have any...
does that not make me a citizen of my country ?

they even sent me address verification code which i entered on moneybookers and then my address got verified. now all this crap. damn. wtf.

First, are you over 18?

What card/paper do you have to identify yourself at police station for example?
Don't indians have an identity card?

i am 21.
dint cast my vote past 3 years coz the lazy people dint make my national card...
National CARD = indian voter id card i suppose..
(Ofcourse even i admit that its my fault that i dint prussurise the local authorities enough to make my card.. hmm i admit my fault here )

ok assumeing i apply one and get my national card, how am i supposed it to show it to them ?

shall i upload the image on an imagehosting site and giv them the image link.. or ?
how exactly am i supposed to show them the proof ?

 

look at the message they sent you (first post), just upload them from your pc, don't put them in imagehosting sites

Hi, I am also living in India & You can do only one thing in your case & that is very much easy & simple.

Just get one stamp paper of 50+ INR value (don't go for less than 50/-)
Make an affidavit which mentions your legal name, age, sex, address & your photo. Just get help of any lawyer from the court or private practitioner. Then get notarized that affidavit with registered notary & that's it.

This affidavit will be having everything they want, name, address, photo & since it is notarized it will be considered as a national ID too.

The reason why they are asking you to verify address is that they want to verify your business address which I doubt you have.

calling them and explaining the situation could be good but bit risky as they could close your account permanently.

 

i suggest you to send the information over internet.dont use fax.as they will probably ask to fax again.these analog transmission machines are not trustable.they will want the fax again because they cant see it clearly.so just scan your identites and send a mail to them.

 

i a kinda scared to give them my National card ... hmm do they want to sue me ?
i had only about $25 (Equivalent to Rs1000 )
i dont mind loosing that much money considering the hassle in the process...

i say hassle coz.
1. my parents dont want me to disclose so many details of myself to moneybookers.
2. i hav nothing to loose. $25 , i dont really care.
3. i dont have my card ready yet, however i will have it ready by end november 2007. but is moneybookers prepared to wait that long ?

i can show them and tell them all other details but i dont want them to see national card and stuffs like that ... may b they could use my information against me and sue me 1 day...
is there any way to ask them to bypass the national card stuff ?

what i would like to know is assuming i loose my moneybookers account.. can i create another account ?
previously also i had extered all my correct details .. like name, address, dob etc etc.
and if i want to make a new acc again with those same details will they allow me ? considering that my past account mite hav been frozen...

 

don't worry all this is only for verification purpose! but with only 25$ in your account how can they do this

they doubt for big transaction amounts..anyhow like i said above just give them xerox copy of your PAN card.. it will solve your purpose.. i recently did it with paypal... with no problems

 

does moneybookers keep all the verification information with itself ? and not leak it to third party users / information requesters ?

yes $25 only in my account and still all this situation.. even i am shocked..
i have done transactions totalling $2500+ with paypal and they never bothered me wid a question

 

It's forbid to open multiples account.

When you have your documents you can hide the numbers of the ID card for example, also put crossed lines saying "moneybookers purposes", this way they can't use your papers.

They don't need the ID card, they just want to verify your identity and if your information is correct with the moneybookers account details

 

No big companies can really share your personal info to third party users..!
