Hi. I am just curious. How come you speak for WidgetBucks here? I know you as a reputable member here at DP so you know for sure that WidgetBucks will be good too?
He is basically just stating what is on their press releases, they have a blog that gives updates on the programs. http://widgetbucks.blogspot.com that is where they give updates on categories, ad sizes, changes to the CP, and things like cracking down on click fraud.
They hosted their blog on blogspot ?? Why would they do that? They have a domain... so why didn't they just put the blog on blog.widgetbucks or widgetbucks,com/blog ??
No. they keep editing the payment just on 3rd day. So once you see the amount in black that is the final you gonna get paid. I just say what I know and read about the company on their website/blog or here among the people.
It increases for me as well. But for people it is decreasing. I think it is based on how is your traffic converting with the advertisers' sites.
My only issue with Widget Bucks is the loading time. By the time an ad unit has loaded I've found what I want on the page and am about to click off, whereas adsense etc load instantly.
Yeah welcome to (2.0) Widgets my friend LoL, I hate the load time aswell, also the scrolling of page is very frustrating during the loading time. I have noticed on slow (older) computers the widget will crash and cause a slow loading error, Oh and I think the CTR has an effect on the CPC, I have noticed that the lower CTRs are paying more - but as mentioned above it could have something to do with conversions. Game consoles are working best for me, could be many factors though - traffic quality for example.
Speaking of increases, I had one of my widgets record 2 clicks one day and after they converted to black they were listed at $1.12 per click. I think that is the highest I have had with them. I even had a few for $0.89
Wow great. Means your traffic is convering. Surely US traffic will fetch you better, because it has more chances of convering into sales.
Can I put WidgetBucks on my site if I'm not based in the US? Yes, as long as the site meets the terms of service. Please be aware that our terms of service does not allow non-english sites without prior written consent. Widgetbucks can be placed on any site that has traffic. Because all of the products are from US based merchants and are in US dollars, the likelihood of click conversion is greater for a US targeted audience, but you can still use WidgetBucks on Non-U.S. based sites. == And it doesn't apply to widgetbucks only , same goes for adsense and others ..
