Can I rotate adsense ads with other ads using AJAX ?

Well I suppose if a system is setup so that what ad is displayed is decided on the server then I don't see no problem but,

what if I want to have an ajax ads rotator ?

Lets say the adsense ad is displayed first
then after 10 seconds the ajax function calls another (non-adsense) ad to be displayed and the adsense ad dissapears

Do you think that would be acceptable ? any has done it ?

 

Adsense ads cannot be modified, including making them more noticable than normal or making a part of them be obscured.

 

Thats right, If not you'll be blocked immediately

They have no way of knowing if the ads are obscured or covered by something else so the "immediatelly" is wrong ... but if someone offers them to take a look at my site I will probably get in trouble ... thanks for the answer seem

 

I am assuming you can, but you should contact adsense and make sure it is OK.

I would advise you to send an e-mail to adsense and tell them the full details on what you want to do with the ads... They will tell you exactly if you can do this or not
It's better to be safe than sorry

IMHO I think that as long as the ad rotator displays the adsense ad correctly and that you won't have any other ads on the page (at one given moment) but adsense's you will be ok.

Nice.. so as long as you don't have ajax call the adsense code twice you are OK
