Bored :( ( U Ever Thought About This? )

    I am bored so I decided to do my own bored thread!

    Ok, here is the question:

    If you were stranded in the wilderness and your arm was stuck under a log or rock ( BROKEN ) would you be able to cut your own arm off in order to save your life or would you just sit there and wait for someone to come for you?

    IMO, I would probablly do it myself because the arm cant be saved after so long anyhow. + People can take a long time to get to where you are.

    So how about you! Could you do it? :D

    I think it would depend on a few things..

    How intense the pain was.
    Whether or not it was unbareably cold.
    Whether or not there was a risk of dangerous animals nearby.

    I could do it prob just like that one guy did. His arm wasnt broken, it was trapped under a boulder and it was dying from lack of blood...he broke his arm and cut it off with a swiss knife.....He said the it was the tendons or something that hurt the worst......

    I would call someone on my cell phone and give them my GPS coordinates and tell them to come and help me. :p

    Depends weather i was carrying my knife or weather i had do it the AMEX bill in my pocket :D paper cuts hurt more

    but seriously prob could do it your arm would be numb so wouldnt be hard aslong as you are good around blood,then again id hope it was my left arm as im usless with that

    Heh, interesting question! I am not so good with pain. However the scenario that you laid out already has you in a lot of pain from a broken arm with compression injury. So that being the case I think that self amputation would be a fairly logical course of action.
