$25 contest- Easy.

Hi, I would usually design a logo myself, but i need a great, memorable logo for this site, as we are expecting many hits when it is released to the public. I want a simple & unique symbol for my company, not just text.
The site is currently in the making, so i will have to describe it to you.

The url is , notice, no capital on the flick as it is meant to be one word. The meaning of the name is basically flick through profiles, maybe that will give you an idea. Colours have not been decided yet, but i think blue's would fit best. I will need one logo to place on a white background, and one for dark backgrounds (probably navy blue). (psd must be included)

If you could make a dark face from the side, like a profile picture in the logo, that would be good, or i would like some cartoon people in a group like a community site like myspace. but all ideas are welcome.
I want something quite simple, that any type of person would like, but not too simple.

Also, i want the logo to be big, so i can resize it to the correct size to fit my website.

As I said, want to focus more on a symbol, then text. I need something unique so it will be easily memorized


Rojar: I like the idea, but the outcome is a bit childish, the colors are quite nice.

Nebuk: The face is a bit serious, maybe try and make it a bit happier? Also, there is not enough color

Gal: I love it, both design and color, but why did you put emphasis on "lick"
you should put emphasis on "flick". Also, how would that logo look on a dark background?, maybe you should make a version for a dark background too if you can, thanks.
