    All sorts of problems imaginable.

What is really strange, is that you cannot open too many explorer windows. This was an issue with all windows versions.

is you open approx 8 windows you cannot open even a popup menu. u must close few windows first.
shame on you .. Vista (or microsoft) you cannot test this simple case

Now, your homework for today is to look up the word "fact" and the word "opinion" and write an essay on the differences in meaning and their usages in the English language. come back and tell me when you've worked it out.

When i was in school i never did my homework, lol.

But i can tell you this...

Most people who says Vista isn't better then XP didn't even use Vista, their just so used to XP and the same thing for people who switch to Vista. Vista may not be perfect but i know its a whole lot better then XP, and with SP1 to be released next year it'll fix the problems and sweep XP away just like XP did to windows 2000.

This may be an opinion to you but i can say it is a fact Vista is better.

Maybe when the service pack is released Vista will be better than XP, but until that happens XP will be the better OS because it is, for the most part, bug free. Yes Vista is prettier and has more functionality, but it also has a ton more issues. I used Vista on my desktop until it gave me too many headaches, then reverted back to XP. When SP1 for Vista releases, maybe I'll re-evaluate my decision.

I have had very strange problems with vista.
1.IE flash quit working and couldnt figure out how to fix it. It started doing this after running disk cleanup.
2.System takes 5 minutes to fully be started up and is ready to use.

I don't have any issues starting up in xp...Only difference in the starting process I notice is that vista take a lot longer to start up.

I dont keep financial info on my computer so identity is not a problem in that case. There is one bug that I know can affect your Vista computer. Its a little trojen named IRCbot and basically its sent over IM (MSNM, YAHOO etc.) The bug infects system files and requires you to remove it from the root. How would I know this? Well it happened to a friend's computer. So just be on the lookout for some IM that says "hey look at these cool new pictures".

    Same, lol.

The thing is that I, in fact, have, and still do. I put up with it every day of my life.

XP has no more problems starting up than Vista.

There are multiple bugs that affect Vista, with security patches being issued weekly.

Well as I have been saying Microsoft is ahead of the bugs for now. The amount of error messages and stuff I had on XP I do not have on Vista. In fact once my whole HD crashed and I lost all my info cause I had forgotten to back up my files....

Well, that's never happened to me. You must have the buggiest XP installation in existance. I would say, however, that ever OS has bugs. XP has them but so does Vista.

Internal bugs....so far for vista I have found none. Viruses I know of a couple that could affect the system but thanks to anti virus not a threat.

I am not the only person who gets this result. Check the others. Problem is those who get the problems are more vocal than us who don't.

Well obviously, consumers expect to get a quality result when they pay $300+ for an OS. It is expected that software run perfectly, and anything short of that should warrant a quick patch or fix. That being said, I understand that this is impossible 99% of the time, but since most people buy things with this expectation, they are more likely to complain when things go wrong then compliment when they only meet their expectations.
