You are confusing real science with the evolution religion. Science has benefited us, and like Kalvin, I love science.

You just keep you garbage out of the US and work on ruining your own city ok. If God doesn't exist, then why is your whole life purpose to remove Him? You are a bit religious in your words, don't be a hypocrite and not follow through. Couldn't have bigots like you running around being hypocrites too.

You are still so clueless about the one thing you hate. Maybe if you had a clue you wouldn't hate so much.

And as for semantics - you still have been corrected on a few threads that you could not answer, since either you don't speak English well enough or gave up trying to convince people you meant something other than you said - "your military" for example.

That is the measure of a day on earth, there is no disputing that. There is no day or night in space.

That is a quantity of measure we use to comprehend the measure of time. It is a literal definition. A day on earth is 24 hours, no disputing that. When we measure things in earth days that is the value of one earth day. You can not literally say a day can be millions of years because it simply is not. When you read the bible as literature you can picture an Almighty God from somewhere deciding to create a planet with everything it has in it. God then decides that an earth day and night is one full day. Then God goes back to his own measure of time from somewhere else which could be measured as millions of earth years and then comes back the next day from wherever he was and creates more creations.

One day on Venus is 243 Earth days, What if where ever God was (let just call it xyz just for explaination) when creating earth took millions of earth years or one xyz day.

I was simply saying to change the slogan of US because you make your people appear as fools for having crosses in schools and your president being a religious man, it looks really bad to me. I have some interesting stuff about correlation between IQ and degree of religiosity where the US are a noticable exception, but I can't be bothered to make the post, go pray.

    And you are?

What indication do you have from the Bible that the author is talking about anything but an evening and morning of earth? And what reason do you have to believe the earth is millions of years old aside from the assumptions of "science?"

You're basically trying to say that a day on God's "planet" is ~1,000,000 times longer than a day on earth. The earth rotates at about 1000 miles per hour. So on God's "planet" he's rotating at ~0.00876 miles (46.25ft) per YEAR. Just to satisfy the assumptions of "science"

So are you willing to admit that in the musical world Christianity is vastly superior to atheism? Maybe the chromosomes in the Christians are better alligned?

With belief it is possible and a "planet" can rotate at that rate, it is not outside the realm of probabities in this universe (or something beyond that).

Absolutely not. Religious music is monotonous and pretentious. And in the case of christian "rock" it's just down right lame.

Well, in this case you will have to present an evolutionist song so I can compare.

An evolutionist song? Why would people who believe in evolution sing songs about it? Listen to what you are saying. Nothing you say makes any sense. is your strategy in cases where you can't win an argument to reduce it to utter nonsense?

You have also made the glaring error of saying "atheist" first and then changing it to "evolutionist" as if atheism and evolution are the same thing. You are confused, have a sit down and come back when you have collected your thoughts.

If evolution is such an inspiring thing why not turn it into a song (or two). Or are the chromosomes missing?

So you can't name an atheistic song: "I believe in nothing" or an evolutionist song "You my son came from apes"

You are a joke. There is simply no point taking part in dialogue with you.
So because we don't sing about it must be false? Are you serious?

I'm afraid he is serious.. I find exchanging words with them seems like a nightmare where I would wake up in a psychatric hospital and everybody would be insane, health care staff included.

Actually you're right. I should also not have a dialogue with you, especially since you believe that Jesus is the THIRD most influential person of all time (after Mohammed and Newton).

You are the worst I ever seen when it comes to evidence. You embrace theories that lead to your desired outcome and then completely ignore facts that bother you.

Still crying because i didn't give the answer you expected from your contrived question?

There are two things that make you incapable of seeing sense. Firstly you simply don't understand the evidence presented to you and secondly you seem to be under the impression that only other peoples claims are subject to evidence while your own is somehow pardoned of being subject to presenting evidence. it's like you think that because you say something it must be true, No matter how nonsensical it is, Even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

it's like trying to explain quantum mechanics to a dog while he is only interested in smelling his own shit.

You are a lost cause, There is no hope for you. You claim humans are 50% banana because you completely failed to understand what you were reading and you think that a case can be made against evolution simply because we don't sing about it.

Nothing you say makes any sense and nothing you hear makes it in to your brain. Sometimes i think your inability to grasp these ideas is a lack of education (i don't mean that as an insult, But you appear to be poorly educated) but now i have come to the conclusion that it's not your education that prevents you understanding it, It's your religion that prevents you admitting that you understand it. You simply pretend to not understand/believe it because ignorance is your only defence.

This is why having any kind of reasonable grown-up discussion with you is pointless. You use ignorance as a defence and you try to reduce threads to utter nonsense because you don't have anything reasonable to say. Because you don't understand (are not willing to understand) how chromosomes, genetics and retrovirus DNA prove evolution you start asking facile questions about the songs evolutionists sing about evolution.

I take nothing of what you said as an insult. You are free to express your opinions. And as far as education goes I have been thoroughly educated in an atheistic/comunist country. Although I passed the exams I have not finished with the highest marks.

And yet, there is that thing in me called common sense. It's this common sense that says to me I am a fool for trying to argue with someone who claims that Jesus Christ is the THIRD most influential person of all time (after Mohammed and Newton). You say there is no hope for me. I agree there is no hope for as long as you claim Jesus is the THIRD most influential person of all time . This proves you will not agree to anything regardless of its truth only to prove your point. Kind of like: "My point right or wrong."

Help me here for a second. I understand you're Jewish. If you're not you don't have to answer this. But being Jewish means being a descendant of Abraham right? If so, how can a Jew (a descendant of Abraham) claim he's an atheist? Isn't this some kind of oxymoron?

It's not common sense to ignore evidence, it's not common sense to entirely fail to understand scientific articles and then use this misinterpretation as evidence in your argument and it's not common sense to think that a lack of songs about evolution is some how proof that evolution lacks credibility. So exactly what part of what you have been saying requires common sense? Again, You are simply saying things and professing them to be true. it's obvious to everybody that if there is one thing you entirely lack, it is common sense.

It is sad, because the creation/evolution argument could be an interesting subject. There are some creationists who ask how the flagella motor of bacteria could have evolved as it appears to be irreducibly complex, They ask how sexual reproduction could have evolved, They ask how the woodpecker could have evolved a tongue that curls around it's brain. These are interesting question.

But we are stuck with you, Someone who thinks humans are half banana, Thinks evolutionists should sing songs about it and wonders why if you leave a horse in a field for 3 years he wont let you ride him again. Nobody takes anything you say at all seriously.

If for example my dad belongs to a cult and believes in god, must i also ?
If for example my great great grandfather believed in god, must i also ?
I'm not one of those people who see everyone else believes in god, so "i should too". I started using my brain at a young age.
I really don't give a rat's ass about what Abraham believed. As far as we know, he could of been eating the good ol' magic mushrooms that he found somewhere.
Being a Jew does not automatically means that you are a believer, right ? ;)
