I got banned from CJ here's the scenario. a competitor challenged me that he'll get my a/c banned within 1 day. What he did was setting up a spam incident. he logged in to a yahoo id (a newly made id) & spammed one of his other ids. Finally he reported it to CJ claiming that i am abusing CJ.com system. Thank God that idiot sent me a copy of his complaint. If not i won't know the exact cause. But CJ.com is so dumb to believe an idiot who's sole intention was something else. Actually anyone can easily mislead CJ since they don't have any proper affiliate protection. People can easily mess with the report. Pls don't publish your CJ id publicly where your enemies are hanging around. They'll screw your ass like hell. i'm not going to use cj anymore because anyone can easily abuse their reporting option and get us banned from cj! can someone recommend me a good alternate ?
this is an interesting post... However my what my questions are.... why are you engaging with your competitors in the first place.. surely if you leave them well alone then they have little reason to fuk u up the ass. in most case i believe people are good and work hard for their money.. I personally would never waste my time trying to find ways to screw over my competitors in a back handed way... surely just keep yourself to yourself...work hard...and no one will bother you... if you go around looking for fights then your going to get punched!!!!
may i know the advertiser and products that u were selling........ they r abnning most of the account who offer free downloads for example screensavers.com and others
actually many affiliates has similar issues or even your site can get banned because of some one using exactly that method to abuse you
This can happen using ANY network, not just CJ. Talk with CJ & they'll most likely re-enable your account.
I think the advertisers in CJ are too slow in approving.. i have requested approving from some of the advertisers since 3 weeks ago, and now it is still pending..
i contacted their support few days back! they don't even reply us. anyone can easily shutdown your account within 24 hours by sending a fake report. now i'm using a different affiliate network and i'm happy with them ( i tested them by sending them a fake complain about my site )
and get banned again when a 16 year old kiddie send them a fake complain about my site ? nah! i will never use cj anymore. good bye commission junction.
