This kind of people can be find in any country of the world. This is not an IQ test, just a cheap TV show.
Did you hear that interview? Im not making it up and I think criticizing yourself is not that bad thing in the end.
You must have went to one of the good public schools, because in some of the schools I went to, the teachers would sit there and curse and yell at the students the entire period. I was once in a class with such bad students that they ran away FIVE teachers. Every teacher that tried to teach the class ended up quitting.
Higher level classes usually spark a higher intellect amongst the peers and the teachers usually don't spend any time yelling/scolding students
Umm.... you notice they started the video saying they were asking the Americans questions "about the very world their country runs". So who is more stupid? The U.S. or the rest of the world for letting the U.S. run them?
I think that language on video is Polish? Or something similar. Your words are correct, except Russia and China. And I dont know if its clever to waste your power and money in some places like Iraq or Iran when your dollar collapses everyday. It wont be forever, then you'll see were you clever or not.
i do no know how many but i am sure many of them do not think about their government..or dont care about government behave to world.
I love how people flock to call American's stupid - On an American made website. They're so stupid they can't even build their own website to bash Americans on.
you know if you said americans were stupid one year ago i might of jumped on you and defended us. But now that i think about it. America is stupid, we voted for bush... twice..(i din't but im sure all of hickvill USA did) and a man like Ron Paul shows up ready to revolutionize america and bring prosperity and respect back to it, yet our top two future candidates right now both have their hands dirty and have no place to be in any kind of political power. America will be its own destruction
Ever notice a parallel between Ron Paul Supporters, people who are not even American Citizens and Doom and Gloom Posts? This is certainly one of those things that makes you sit and go hmmm...
I certainly don't think all Americans are stupid, but we do have stupid people here. And I honestly don't think we should keep blaming our President or our educational system. We as Americans are the problem.... People in the country are so concerned with material possessions and money that family, which is what should be most important, is suffering. How many people you know stick their kids in daycare so both parents can work so they can buy the big screen TV and nice clothes? Most of the people I'm around on a daily basis treat their kids like a toy they can play with at their convenience. Parents are not parenting their children, not teaching them morals, not giving them a family, not showing love, etc. One parent should stay home and pay attention to their kids, help with homework, take them to school, and make sure they learn to be a responsible adult. We are creating stupid Americans and it's sad because it's so easy to fix.....
Great post and since you are a girl you probably won't get slammed for stating the truth! My wife is at home with the kids, and since they are homeschooled someone has to be. I work from home, so that I see them a lot too. You are right that it is the parents fault. We have choices to make, whether to have all the toys or to invest in our children and I am not just talking about investing money. Invest your life into your children. (Not saying your childs life is yours, but you spend the time with them and not stuff, TV, work, etc...) Find some balance in your life between family, job, etc..
Well, we are probably the most diverse country in the world. We have the smartest of the smart and the dumbest of the dumb. There are other countries out there that have horribly low literacy rates and a worse education system. Just don't forget where technology primarily originates, you wouldn't be on here badmouthing the Americans if it weren't for the Americans developing the technology used to access these forums.
I don't agree with this post at all. My wife stays at home, she does a good job with our kids and personally, I'm fine with women staying home and taking care of the children. However, just because you put them in a daycare does not mean that they are suddenly learning any less. In fact, there are plenty of parents out there who neglect their children even when staying home with them. Many daycares have some type of plan to prepare students for school and do a very good job at it. The important part is that if you do work you need to find the proper daycare, and find one that is ran by someone who has the same values as you.
Interesting observation. Can you back that up? Are you taking lessons from Gtech who believes that 2nd or 3rd generation Americans are not really TRUE Americans.
I'm sorry but I don't agree no matter how great the daycare may seem to be. Being from a divorced family and having been thrown in daycare I know this from experience. Strangers are not going to care or provide as much love and attention to your child as the parents. It's not all about what they are learning when they are in daycare, it's about caring, loving, and attention. Nobody spent one-on-one time with me while I was in daycare. Nobody ever sat down with me and read a book, helped me with my homework, or played a game. It's the parents job, and nobody elses, to make sure that child KNOWS they are loved and wanted, and throwing them into some strangers care does exactly the opposite....I love my parents dearly, but they cared more about themselves and what would make THEM happy then to try and make the marriage work and creating a family for the children they made. They were selfish, and me and my sister suffered greatly for it. Americans are too quick to think of themselves and NOT what's best for their kids. "I'm not happy so I'm going to divorce, throw my kids in daycare, and go find a new wife to make me happy!" We give them to strangers to raise so we can go do what makes us happy, make babies with 20 different people, and end up neglecting our children. What does that say to our kids? YOU ARE NOT AS IMPORTANT AS MY HAPPINESS! Until the family isn't expendable anymore we are going to continue to slide downhill as a nation..... And tell your wife that she should be PROUD that she is truly her kids' mom! Good for her!
