Hello I've made a search over duplicate content threads but didn't found an answer to my problem .. or at least not one to satisfy me I own a network of sites ... One is a blog , news site .. let's call it news site. And the second one is a reviews site.. I want to list the news from site 1 to site 2 as well. Will google get it as duplicate content ?! (sites are on same server) Should I post only the headlines and a link to full news ?! Thanks
Shouldn't matter they're on the same server (ip addy). The first and foremost way to avoid duplicate/ supplemental content is unique meta tags especially the title and description tags. Then switch up the content. Make sure pages are unique from one another, beit the same site or different websites.
I would post headlines only. If both sites have different content and only headlines from each other it should be fine.
Do it as if you're an rss scraper. 3-5 lines of text, and link to the main article. However, as I always state. Google's duplicate content filters are a joke, unless the entire site is copied.
Ok I'll do it as RSS scrapper in fact I'll use the RSS feature so I wouldn't have to cde to much . Thanks for your inquires.
