Not good.. Clickbank has been red flagged by McAfee Site Advisor. All of those FUCKING DOWNLOAD SITES and other shit sites are the cause of this... look at: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/clickbank.net
who has a mcaffe toolbar? go to some CB orderforms on various products... are they all red flagged? This is a huge blow for everybody invloved with clickbank. No wonder sales have been completly shit lately... this PLUS CB's CC processing problems.. PDC is looking pretty sweet right now.
Ok, So we have two problems: 1. ClickBank's Red flag at McAfee Site Advisor. 2. CB's CC processing problems. 1. First we need to estimate how many people use McAfee SA. i'm sure that this is the best place online to get this kind of estimated info, since it is an online marketing community. After we have some idea of the percentage of people with this tool we will know if it is really a sales threat. If it's only 1% of the potential buyers crowd than i guess it's not to bad. But what if it's 30%???? So guys... what are your estimates? 2. Can some please elaborate on this...? I didn't heard of this problem yet.
If it was hitting their bottom line a great deal, wouldn't clickbank just drop these sites from their marketplace? I would be really worried if it was norton. How long has it been red flagged with mcafee, do you know?
Mcaffe is antivirus, but that redflag in on mcafee site where you can get info about certain domain does it contain spyware or it doesnt contain what is say. Very useful,i founded some valuble info using it.
There were only like 2 confirmed problems in a month that were both remedied quickly. I read some posts that suspected potential problems, but during those times, I was processing sales. I'm sure there are a few hiccups here and there, but I don't see CB's processing problems causing any major problems. Hell, I even see paypal hiccup once in a while. Overall, I am satisfied with clickbank's processing measures, and I am pretty sure CB is also aware and working on the mcafee gig too.
thats what i wanted to hear. What happens with me is i get like 10 days straight where i make about 5 sales a day... then i have 5 days with zero sales... then straight back into 5 sales a day. when i go 2 days without a sale i know im not going to get any sales for atleast 3 more days... then when i get that next sale it seems to break the sales gap and everything seems fine again. very annoying... do you experience sales gaps like this floodrod?
Seems a little dissappointing that they would completely denounce a site for having links to other suspicious sites. Not to mention it looks like some reviewers just don't like clickbank lol.
i would say many of the reviewers are people that have purchased sattv4pc or other download memberships... If norton follow what mcaffe have done it would not be good at all. CB should have gotton rid of those scammy sites a long time ago, its their fault they have a bad reputation
I have to agree with you. There are way to many scam products on CB that have to be removed and publishers banned forever.
I think there was 1 day in the last month and a half that i experienced no sales. They do seem to bounce around from time to time, anywhere from 3-20 sales a day currently. Most days land at about 5-8 sales. A few days I made 8+ sales from 1 customer who drops like $280 in 1 purchase session, and some days I'm flooded with small sales. Some days I wake up to 5-6 sales, some days I wake up to none. It's so random, I can't figure out a rhyme or reason
It is so nice to hear that I am not alone wondering about sales i am in the same boat, I cannot understand why I am making sales on one day and cannot make a single sale on the other. Of course we should not forget about the "last affiliate link" - people look around and even though they clicked your aff link, they might have clicked on some other aff link later on just before they made the purchase...
jen from clickbank pm'd me asking to post this.... looks like they are in contr0l The ClickBank order form (www.clickbank.net) has been red-flagged by McAfee’s Site Advisor because of links to two sites which were ClickBank vendors that McAfee ranked as suspicious. The two sites have since been removed from the marketplace, and McAfee is looking at our site again. We are currently working with McAfee to understand how to prevent this situation from occurring again. McAfee’s Site Advisor rates sites based on its analysis of links to the site, as well as user comments. It would help therefore if ClickBank publishers and affiliates, who felt comfortable about doing so, would go on the www.siteadvisor.com , look up the site report for www.clickbank.net, and add positive comments about ClickBank on the comments section. Thanks so much, Jennifer www.clickbank.com
good stuff.. thanks for posting that for us. I will be posting a good comment about clickbank.net today. Everybody shoudl do it
