Anybody Had Real Success With Article Marketing?

Hi guys

I just wanted to find out if anybody here has had great success with article marketing of clickbank products.If you have, how many articles have you written and what is your average daily profit generation? It is so hard finding the right niche to promote let alone writing the articles.I have been trying this on and off and the best I ever did was making $80 in one day and then like nothing for the next 10 days or so.Any tips would be appreciated.

As a merchant I keep track of my affiliates, and where their traffic comes from. And I can say that up to 75% of my affiliate's sales comes from articles. Success depends on what article site Google likes at any given moment. - Right now Google seems to be liking Hubpages. Many of my affiliate's Hubpage articles are getting top spots in Google searches.

A good method, is to do several searches using keywords you would use for selling your product. Then see what articles and article sites hit closest to the top, and then emulate. A quick way to success is to use what is already working.

 

I've made some sales with writing articles -- I'm going to focus more on it because I think there's potential if you are persistent.

I would also like to address the bio box, as this is where you will put your affiliate link. Focus on this box of copy and rewrite it until you feel it's perfect...

...and then the title of course. It has to be compelling or it won't get opened. Again, rewrite until you come up with something that clicks.

 

Google also places articles in ezinearticles.com in first page of search results.
So, better to write more articles and submit in that directory.
wait and collect your commissions.

 

I have earned 200$ on 6 articles this month. Now i am going to write 10-20 articles per day and see the results.

I have been using article marketing for quite a while and it has been very profitable for me. I have written well over 350 articles and attracted more than 200,000 views.

10-20 articles per day is really a good thing, but make sure that all of them to be qualitative.

I wrote one article in June of 2006 and got ranked in the first position on page one for a google key word search in July of 2006. The article is still ranked and I am still getting sales! I love article marketing free way to promote CB products. That is just the results for one of my articles. Here is the key word and results from google for the article. This article has now brought in over $10,000 in sales.

This article has now been ranked in the first position for 16 months. A couple times it would change it position.

Is there a formula, a guide, pattern that one has to follow when writing articles. There must be a reason why out hundreds of articles on the same topic some are on the first page and others are lost in oblivion.

I have tried article spinner program and found it to be full of crap.

So what is the formula to writing successful articles that gets picked up by the search engines and related websites?

 

Wow, you are very productive... 10 to 20 articles per day sounds a bit too many to me.

 

I guess the "formula" is quite simple - research, unique content, submission to right article directories, positioning and density of keywords, length, etc. Do that right and your articles will be in 1st position on Google and all other SEs .

 

Last week i read a report about bum marketing. The author sad, that you have to write at least 30+ articles per day. It is 30x20=600 articles per month and over 7200 articles per year. Has anyone tried this method? Does it really work? I can only write 10 articles per day.

 

The articles really last online, if you write 30+ articles it is really to make lots of money online, which we all are, and they last online too. Its like playing craps, the more numbers you cover for each roll of the dice, the more chances you are going to get a number. The thing about articles and blogs is that there is no initial wager you have to put down on the table, it is all free. So think, If I get free wagers on any combination a dice can turn up on a chance toss, why not put the free wagers (or articles) down on every combination and collect every time the dice are rolled?

 

It sounds a lot more fun to be playing craps than writing articles.

It is not really free - you spend time writing articles, so what is your time worth? When I do contract work, the minimum I charge is 75$/hour. So, if I have to spend 2 hours a day researching and writing articles, then it is like spending/not making 150$... Now, how much would it cost me to ask some freelance writer to write those articles for me? Probably much less....

How many people do you think are churning out these articles? probably thousands of people are turning out average or below average articles hoping that there articles will stick and get a high ranking with google.

A better method to make sales is to create a totally focused website with original articles on one subject only, keep loading 2-3 quality articles (700-800 words) onto your site every day, make sure you have plenty of outgoing links to quality websites with a similar theme to yours, I bet you any money that would make more sales than churning out 10-15 crappy articles and sending them to the ezine - goarticles everyday.

Just check out the other thread with the guy doing the bum marketing method (about 5- 6 page long thread) he's been doing that for 2 months I think and has about 60 articles submitted and has only made one sale!

Jeez I hate writing articles but I wrote one article the other day on a specific problem people have with the internet, I got a first page ranking with google within one day and have about 150 visitors a day from this article - it makes money from adsense everyday and has also made 2 - 3 sales within one month and that's from just one article - it's highly targeted and points to about 8 other websites and forums that are related.

Bum marketing sucks for the vast majority of people that do it, it's boring, you hate doing it and the results are usually crap.

Make a website about something you love, upload great content and you will make money!

 

I do agree with your method of writing extremely quality articles and having that on a website or blog. That is an incredible method

I even do it with blogging, I write extremely high quality posts, and have an opt-in form on one of my widgets.

But the bum marketing is great if you know what you're doing. I can crunch out 25 articles in 2-3 hours, and all that is funneled in a sales page offering a freebie.

Bum marketing sucks...but bum/article marketing with an opt-in form is !gold!
Internet marketing is very simple, and i've heard of people making 150-300 bucks a day from this method alone.

Combine bum marketing and...
Have an opt-in page that converts...and i promise you that you can have 10,000$ a month under 90 days!

I read posts of so many people here trying to make sales by writing articles. I read about amounts - 3 articles a day, 6 a day... 7200 a year..
Do you guys really think you should focus on the amounts?

Lets put it this way - marketing is marketing, on the Internet and off the Internet. You can write a very convincing piece that will make people want to buy a product. or 1000 of crappy ones that make people think the product you are promoting is shit because you didn't have anything good - "convincing" to say about it.

The way i look at it - When you write an article it's exactly like you write a PPC text Ad (like AdWords or YSM). getting people to click is easy, getting people to click and buy is another story all together. When writing articles Don't focus on traffic, focus on convincing the reader to think the product is something he needs and it has a good value for the price.

If you had a big company that launches a new product which costs $5 million dollars to develop, will you invest the rest of your budget (lets say it's $500,000) on 500 regular Joe's to write what's ever they want on that product and hope for the best or would you pay an excellent marketing writer to write 5 articles for that wroth half a mil?

Like i said, marketing is marketing, If you have high quality content then people are going to want to read it, SEs will want to list it and you will get a long run deal of high quality traffic for "free"

Show me any product you want. If you convince me that i need it, that it will improve me life and it wroth it's money then I'll definitely buy it!
