AdSense Video Units

Curious who is implementing these and what the results are. Post your experience here.

 

I just applied for the vid units will check back in with review once I can implement.

 

I am gonna start today!!

 

I was going to implement it last night, but I'll have to wait to put it on my next site. The videos are huge. You can't simply just add them into your layout unless you have a spare 400x400 (estimated) area.

 

looks pretty cool, I hope they start to provide other video servers as well as youtube isn't really that great

 

Yea, the videos are huge, but what do you expect?

I'm going to see if I'm allowed to create a page on my arcade site called "Cool Videos" with just the ad code

 

Can you embed these on like MySpace and stuff or your own site??

 

I'm hoping to startup a few more vlogs. Waiting until I find out the answer to same question you just asked.

I am still going with the standard link ads.

 

I have just implemented the vid ads into one of my newer directories. Luckily the space available was huge enough to carry it.

There are lots of relevant "labradoodle" videos on youtube, and I added "labradoodle" as a keyword, but for some reason, I'm getting "Chad Vader" videos. Not relevant at all.

I'm hoping it turns around quickly, but right now, I'm pretty disappointed.

The ads are relevant, and nicely placed, but unfortunately the videos wont' do much to bring back repeat visitors, IMHO.

 

It is just for u.s people only. But when will it go for international i am waiting for that.

 

That is definately against TOS. You can't have pages just for ads.

I've just added the YouTube to my cat blog in the comments section. Check It Out. I'm pretty excited about it. I think it's a cool fit for something like this... Obviously it depends greatly on what kind of site you have whether or not this would be something you'd even want to consider. I have many other sites I won't bother testing it on.

 

so far, I've gotten 6 clicks with the video units for a measly $1.75 today

 

I would like to know this too.. I would love to put one of these on my fishing site..
Do you sign up for it with youtube or adsense?

adsense for content
adsense for search
referrals, and
adsense for mobile
But no video units Maybe I do not get enough traffic.. or they have not released it world wide yet.

I also ended up with the Chad Vader episodes and quickly pulled the code down - too much real estate taken up for nonsense video that has NOTHING to do with my content. I was expecting more from Google, but maybe over time there will be more video stock to serve.

 

30 Cents a click is Measly?! I get 5 Cents a click with regular ads =[ 30 Cents would be a dream come true for me.
