So they have no impact what so ever? They have to have something? So would directory links be the best then? Also they are active links i put in comments, that can be followed straight to the site with a click on the link. ????
They will probably help your site or pages get indexed quickly. The offical word is that Google ignores nofollow links. But i have had experience of a site being indexed from a forum post that had nofollow links so they obviously do something with it. But in terms of your ranking it wont help much.
by non follow, do you mean just the url typed and its not a link. Because what i put in the comments, it has the keywords which have hyperlinked the url in it. So it is a link. ?
Hi "no follow" means that you do not get any search engine PR from that link. But it is still good for indirect traffic.
Neither will have much or any effect. You should do some reading on what rel="nofollow" means to the search engines. Particularly to Google, as they control the lions share of search traffic. Directories are being obliterated in the SERPS lately, as they're worthless collections of links with no real content. That's a hotly contested point, but again, do some reading and come to your own conclusions. Rather than chasing devalued and even explicitly worthless links, you should strive to improve the quality of your site, so that it attracts links naturally from fans. Bloggers (aka "the linktorati") just love linking to sites they discovered and think their readers will appreciate. Rather than leaving comment spam that at best will get a click from the blog owner, make your site compelling enough to earn links on its own merit.
the way I see it, links on blog comments are helpful. even though its no follow, still there is a chance that it might get a visit and result to give you traffic.
