Why The Inflation on Domains?

    I recently went to go purchase 2 domains to find the price has gone up a few dollars and for no good reason!

    Can anyone tell me why the price has gone up and what place i can register domains for much cheaper. I am annoyed.

    Thanks for the code.. this is what confuses me:
    so there was a .42 increase in the fees so domain companies raise for 6.95 to 9.99 ? I'm not sure i understand this logic.

    I'm guessing that the drop of USD has something to do with this.
