Cheney says to Iran we will not allow you to have Nukes

Dick Cheney on Sunday described Iran as an obstacle to peace in the Middle East and said the world could not stand by and allow it to develop a nuclear weapon.

Cheney's comments underscored a ratcheting up of U.S. rhetoric toward Tehran and came just days after President George W. Bush warned that a nuclear-armed Iran could lead to World War Three.

Well what is coming next are they going to bomb all the nuclear plants under construction in Iran ?

I agree. If Iran have nukes, it WW3 for sure. So the US should nuke Iran to make sure that no nukes are used
Seriously, I believe we should let them what they want to do. Europe and America should try to be self sufficient and build wall to keep people, who think that Occident is evil, outside of 'hell' for their own well...
Making them staying outside Occident is good for them and their belief, so Occident should stay out of that picture...

What about this 'laser space protection stuff' set under Reagan governement that the french recently disclosed by saying that each time a nuke get out from Iran soil, it will be destructed within the 10 first seconds, making the weapons used against their own creators?

 

If there is a WWIII about to start will be because of animals like Cheney, Bush and their war mongering friends.

Can we get a poll on who all wants Iran to have nukes? I would think most of the ron paul supporters want them to, because the trend I see with them and ron paul is a complete and utter hatred for Jews and Israel. Given that iran has repeatedly threatened to wipe Israel off the map and made other threats as well, I can see exactly why some want Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Can we get a head count? Whose ready to be a man and fess up?

You already know my views and that is any country that wants to prevent itself from being attacked and destroyed by your lover Bush and his corrupt cabal needs nukes. They act as a fantastic deterrent.

 

Dick Cheney threatening the rest of the world is my least favorite alternative.

To date, he went from explaining why it was wise to not go into Iraq back in 1994 to primary sponsor of a war that turned out dramatically different than his commentary and thoughts back in 2001-2003.

The current situation is a dramatic drain on all American capacities including military, financial, you name it.

His oversight and that of the administration of the war in Iraq encountered incredible difficulties that have created a mess that none of the optimistic members of the administration foresaw in 2003 or probably planned for.

There are many ways to address the threat of Iranian nuclear capacity. Even as this is going on there is evidence that the fundamentalist religious leaders in Iran are recoiling at Ahmajabba jabba's threats. They were unhappy with the status of change of the Iranian representative to the latest talks on their nuclear situation.

I hear Cheney and ahmajanna whatever his name is...and they sound like the same threatening guy speaking in different languages.

If things go worse, if things proceed without any progress--yup, I'd be for taking out as best we can the ultimate threat from a very threatening entity.

Are we there now? I don't think so. Are we making progress? I really don't see it? In fact, somehow we have so misworked our relationships with Russia that Putin has stuck his ugly mug in there only hightening the crisis.

Any way you look at it....it has ugly consequences.
