Why don't people click my ads?

I've got a page that I've been experimenting with using 300x250 sized block. In that slot I randomly select a standard AdSense text and images block, an AdSense images only block, or a Copeac affiliate block with the usual ringtones, horoscopes, iPhone stuff. The results are as follows:

    AdSense text+images: 22,000 PVs, 0.6% CTR
AdSense images only: 15,000 PVs, 1.3% CTR
    Copeac: 69,000 PVs, 0.01% CTR

Yes, that's right, just 6 clicks! I've selected ads with minimal flashing, not too ugly, etc, but I can't understand why they get over 100 times less click throughs than AdSense graphic ads.

Has anyone got any suggestions or tips that could help me get to the bottom of this?

    Hi,

Surfers are getting wise to "made for adsense" sites.

Is yours a made for "adsense site"?

No it is not, and as you can see from the figures, I am getting clicks from AdSense, and especially from AdSense image ads. So, why would almost no-one click on my Copeac ads if they seem happy enough clicking on AdSense?
