Not rep and iTrade since not all forums have them, this goes to any forum. I see people get respected just by how many times they have posted? Is it like a sign of power?
Well if the person has a high posts count that means he or she has been around for a while now and probably knows what they are talking about.
no i basically judge by how people type/ language style. i mean if somebody is trying with proter grammer and basic spelling (not saying if you have a word that anybody hardly ever uses) ill trust you more then somebody that types so bad you can hardly read it. on this one forum that i use theres kids who will type: "I love this this forum" like: i LUvS! dis 4UMS! do you know what i mean?
I agree. A person with high post count is likely to be more reliable plus aware of all the previous and current developments on the forum.
well i thought about it and i guess i do judge based on post count, but thats not the only thing that i base people on as said before.
Like the world we all live in, here too there are different kinds of people. How many post is not a criteria to judge them.
i mostly do not judge for post count but more for post quality, so if you post good answers and not many i can appreciate that more then posting 200 thing without any sense...
Nopes! judging people from their post count ain't a right thing. Anyone can make posts at a fast rate and can get a high post count in a flash.
All the people that have said they don't judge people by post count, I swear so many people that say they don't actually do
I don't judge anybody but i always look first for the join date, then for the post count and iTrader in last... Rep i don't care.
yup, post count really doesn't matter. i know one person over 4 thousand post but he is really bad, such as service/communication/attitude etc.
I'll definitely use itrader and rep level before post count... Also, if a forum doesn't have the itrader displayed, I'll click a few times to check out the member's itrader page...
