First, all I know is that Alexa increase when you get many impressions by users with Alexa bar installed. All you need to do is: 1. Install Alexa 2. Install Firefox and "Reload Every" add on. This add on will reload your website auto every X amount you want. 3. OPen 5-6 tabs on your website. 4. Activate "Reload every" for all tab. Let it reload! I been doing this for 1.5 week now and YES IT WORK! I really have no intention of using Alexa to make money with those programs or anything but nice to have a good looking stats When I go to bed, I do the above so I don't have slow internet speed daytime when working. Oh ya, don't do this for dial up PLEASE LOL Forget all other method because this really work. Hope that helps those of you who are obsess with improving stats like me However, my site do get average of 500 visitors per day so doing this legitimately is more important.
this is why Alexa is completely useless! Why the hell would you waste your time with this? It doesn't increase your traffic or revenue. If your answer is: "to make my site more valuable when I sell it" then you are a unethical piece of crap. There is no useful or legitimate reason to do this.
I mean, I doubt anyone just wants high ranking whatever the method they use to get there. It would be more valuable if you shared a tactic that it's not so black-hat. At least you say: "However, my site do get average of 500 visitors per day so doing this legitimately is more important.".
Does anyone that's had internet for more than 2 weeks really use Alexa rankings anyway? True story about 6 years ago my boss, whom was in the furniture making business, built websites around Alexa rankings. Hook, line, and sinker he believed that this was truly the only way sites were ranked and was an accurate gauge on traffic. He based all of his advertising and time on banking on those ratings. Poor soul, I had to quit that place after 2 months.
I would hope people do not judge a site based on the alexa ranking. Alexa ranking can still be gamed by the use of proxies.
Alexa counts Per IP, And proberly each toolbar has a ID Do you have proof that this technique u used is related to your rank boost? I dont belive it is.
