Why do people do this?

    When someone makes a topic about something and says in it something like

    "PM me for the info"

    WHY ON EARTH do people reply with "Please PM me the details!"?

    It just seems stupid to me:confused:

    and I'll answer your question: Becuase you're going to have an infraction for arguing with a mod :D :D!!

    Generally, author asks others to PM for more information or asks that reply in this post and I'll PM you more details as they don't want to disclose the info public.

    I'm posting because you posted in Suggestion and Feedback. And I don't see a reason why you're posting this. If you don't like when someone sends you a PM don't reply to it.

    Lots of topics start out asking those interested to send a Pm, but spammers just drop in the topic and post their "PM ME INFO" reply and aren't really even interested. Yeah, it's annoying to trudge through all that muck, so, use your report button and ask a mod to warn those spammers :).

    I don't think he is complaining about receiving PMs, but rather asking why do people post useless replies to threads without paying attention to the instruction that the thread starter has given. :)
