widgetbucks stats don't match

I just sign up with widgetbuck just to see what all the hype is about and place the code on one of my sites, The one thing that kind of weird is the stats. My analytics and log both reported traffic to be in the thousand on the the page I had place widgetbucks on but widgetbucks stats reported impression as 30++ for that particular day.

Even adsense reported my impression in the thousand, anyone else has the same problem?

WidgetBucks has still problems with updating stats. Staff support is probably working to resolve the problem.

Keep in mind that you probably added the code a while after your Analytics and site log started recording that day. Also I think that it only counts it as an impression after the ad has loaded. To my knowledge the Mpire loader comes up and when the ad zone has fetched the your zone, your account info it then fills in the "pire" and shows the appropriate ads and sends the statistic to the Widget Bucks database.

hmm, the stats was counted on a 24hrs basis. Hmm if what you are saying is true, than I guess out of thousand of UV, the ads loads up a few times only?

It my not be true. It just seems to me like the most logical reason for them to show the loader and why the loading takes longer sometimes.

If you look at the page status bar in the bottom left of your browser when you first load a page with their ads on it. It will say "Waiting for www.widgetbucks.com" . Then when it starts to fill in the "pire" the status will change to "Transferring data from www.widgetbucks.com".

Ive never had those problems, I have adsense on the same pages of WB and the impressions are always very close but never the same exactly so I think there are probally impression errors.

I just noticed that in my account the lower down the ad is on the page the less impressions it gets. That means I must be right since WidgetBucks ads don't load fully load until it first appears on the visitors screen. If they don't scroll down far enough it won't count it as an impression.

I actually find that useful. Instead of having a ton of impressions recorded lowering your CTR where the ad was never even on screen it only counts literal ad views. It is more effective in calculating CTR.

nick, could you please tell the source of your analytics? are you using any tracking tool? I also faced the same problem on my blog. I have placed two simultaneous ads by widgetbucks of different categories and for the same page impressions it registers different logs for both advertisments. For example, advertisment 1 has 30 impressions and advertisment 2 has 22.
I am wondering how is this possible if both the advertisments are placed on the same page :O
    thanks and regards

Hmm, ok but I have only one ad display and it's in the middle of page though it will be seen once the page is load up. I don't know, you end up losing on being paid for cpm?

Hmm, my best bet for the possibility of your situation is as bscdesign has said.
