on the TAX form where it asks for the address is that where the check will be sent or they need the adds associated with the TAX ID? Can you use a different adds then the one which you signed up with (not associated with TAX ID)? trying to get my bro signed up for adsense on his blog. he is using his friend adds to sign up since i have adsense account with the same adds already. question is can he use his friends adds on the tax form or has to use his real add (same as mine). thanks
I would be careful with what you are trying to do here. People often move around after getting a fica #. I have never sent in in a change of address. Whatever address that is used is where the checks and any 1099 will be mailed. Could you not use another family member's address? Relatives tend to be more honest and reliable than friends.
hi Colbyt we can use a relative adds no problem. my worry was if adsense was somehow able to check ads associated with SSN and if that as same as mine, and not what we submitted, if that will become an issue. but if the ads are just used to send checks and 1099 then i can use close family address. p.s. lol i dont knwo if address are associated with SSN LOL
Why not use the same address? I have multiple adsense accounts setup under the same address. I have my personal one which is under my SSN, and I have 3 others under business names using a business tax id. They all get sent to the same address. I haven't had a problem with this.
you cant have two personal accounts on the same adds as far as i know. you can have business but this is not for business for a personal account.
As long as the friend hands over the check when it arrives, why not? Hope they're really good friends though. A P.O. box can be used though if it comes down to it. Only $25 a year.
