    Hi,

20 years on, and here is the story so far...

I drove along the promenade in Penzance tonight (1hr before this post created), and when you get to the end, there is a one way system...

There was a elderly pair in front of me in their fiat punto, they followed the path of the arrows, and i went right around because i was curious.

Then, the elderly couple got confused because the road they were following on their satnav was wrong. Where the big bold arrow is, is the way i directed them, by pointing.

Within 5 minutes of pointing, the wind started, and it is getting stronger and stronger as we speak/type!

Please help! I caused the same storm which happened 20 years ago!!!!!!

    PROOF: http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/7509/penzancess0.png

What i am saying is true, and i am so worryed and scared. I only wanted to drive to the pub (the longboat) to watch rugby final...

    What should i do?

    I hope i am wrong....

The Great Storm of 20 year ago...

    That brings back memories...

... denials by the BBC weather forecaster... followed by the storm... and then the next day was silence... not a bird singing anywhere... and no school... which is always good :)

I am only 17, i don't know what a proper storm is, since i have never ever had to face one.

Why does this always happen to me?

Is it me or is this gibberish? Am I missing something?

Robert, lay off the weed. I know you say you aren't stoned right now but I'm thinking your previous social smoking is affecting your thinking.

Unfortunately the story (so far) is true no matter how stupid it sounds..

I am just bit paranoid at the moment, too many things have gone wrong today and i have had a few vodka+coke.

I don't think there will be a storm tonight, but what i said about the OAP and the map is true.

You know what Rob, there might be an element of truth in that. I remember someone saying, a fellow scientist, that Hurricane Katrina was started by unusual air turbulence which was caused by traffic movement. This created an area of low atmospheric pressure, which resulted in the strong winds and high tides which engulfed New Orleans.

Do you think maybe the old people's Punto caused a temporary atmospheric area of low pressure as it turned that corner?
