How many PPC campaigns is too many?

Do any of you guys have over 20 campaigns running?

maxed out my account with google, had setup two accounts with yahoo, and got 30 with msn

25 active campaigns per account

 

If you get big enough and are making good use of your campaigns they can allow you up to 100.

 

i only use campaigns for geo-targeting..eg campaigns for INTL, for Germany and so on, and so on.

 

Me too, as well as for budgeting purposes.

 

You can have more than that, but only '100 active' at one time.

I have a few accounts with 120/130 campaigns.

At that sort of size, its best to start up a new account...

 

By not active I assume you mean deleted?

 

have as many as you can... Split testing is a key to success

 

is it possible to delete the campaign ? i've tried delete a campaign, adwords mark it as deleted but i'm not feel comfort if it's not totally dissapear, any suggestion ?

I've got 90 right now.

You can have as many as you want directed to the same url, but they won't show your ad more then once per keyword.

 

Deleted or paused. If you have 100 active campaigns and want to switch on another, you will have to pause or delete another first.

 

Gotcha. One can have 100 active campaigns.
