Is your Dreamhost down?

I just found it's down after I updated my blog post and I couldn't recover it !! Shhhhhhhhhh

 

Yeah, it must be down because I lost access to my accounts FTP while working on a script.

Edit: It seems like everything is alive again lol.

dunno but it's bad, even their homepage www.dreamhost.com couldn't be accessed. Shhhh Grrrrr

 

I think this is a sign that I need to switch hosts -.- it's been happening a lot recently to me at least.

 

No one can tell this except their customer support.

 

Mine are down. Today my traffic increased by 50% from 1000 uniques to 1500 but I won't reach 2000 today with the hosting down.

 

mine DH sites are down too, but this is the first time i have had a problem in quite a while - so I am not going to change hosts just 'cause a little bit of downtime.

 

This will be the ongoing trend...sweet dreams don't come for so cheap!

 

This happens during the day/night as well every once in a while for a duration of 5 minutes or so each time.

I didn't back up my site and database

 

Hope they go below 99.9% uptime

Might be you offered a compensation - Few TBs extra bandwidth?

 

Like we'll need it. And they are almost below 99.9% (more than 8.7 hours of downtime added up)

 

Luckily that I have resellerzoom account and spot available. I am transferring one of my main site from Dreamhost to there (using files in my PC). I cannot wait for a long time down or my site got de-indexed from Google, not worth it.

 

But bandwidth is enough for us, who consume excess bandiwdth?

 

I thought it's just my connection, I even try to use proxy.
Damn, even their homepage is down.
This has been happened quite a lot.

Anyone can suggest another company with similar features (and cheap price )?
