well such site first, scam their user and than they try to threat people, I don't think somone can sue somone just for posting the review about a programmer, as long as it has true information.
"Hearsay" at best is all he needs. Hearsay is not illegal bud, just not admissible in criminal proceedings. And he can say whatever he thinks, so long as it's not stated 100% as fact. Example: Let's say there's a dubious fellow named "Sam Thomas". I can state that I believe Sam Thomas is a transvestite hooker. I actually don't even need evidence, which this blogger has provided. At this point, it's just slinging mud. Now if I photoshop some pictures of him, removing a certain appendage, and publish it as fact, then I might have some problems. Thankfully, that's a line that was not crossed here. ....god I hope that metaphor survives the language barrier.
Hearsay is not admissible as evidence in ANY legal proceedings. Is 'hearsay' illegal... if it amounts to slander YES. Crossing the line... YES he did that and more. Good lord, if you're right, epinions is in for one hell of a law suit. Or more accurately, a few thousand. And yes, I do understand my analogy. I'm saying that he cannot make up things he labels as facts, but he CAN say whatever the hell he wants as opinions. He makes it clear it might not be true, but in his opinion, it probably is.
