My url is http://www.mepipe.com/ - would like an honest review of the site, thank you lovely members The title was meant to say "video site"
Great site design Include RSS and sitemap, if you can. Also, entice your visitors to watch your videos by adding compelling descriptions. Might require work but I believe it'll be worth your time cheers, sitemarker
Great idea. You can do that, too. You're site's OK. Took a quick look but doesn't hurt my eyes. Good luck!
you must have missed the descriptions from my site as its using a completely different script from that of the forumer asking advice and suggestions about his site. Try scrolling further below my video site so you know what I mean... Also, writing a compelling description doesn't need to me a lengthy one. Even 3 or 4 words will do....keep your visitors guessing why.... even the title itself can be a part of the description. here's a little demo for you. This one got 270+ votes http://www.plime.com/politics/l/35714/1/ Ive implemented my own idea which you described as "Great".... bringing in 5K/day uniques. (If you require proof, just go to ebay.com and search for "websites for sale" being auctioned by "sitemaker" ...you will see my video site stats) And finally for you, my friend: Nothing is more discouraging than unappreciated sarcasm.
i think you need the tags on the vids to go into the keywords in the meta also add a web.2 tagging cloud otherwise,,very nice
Nice job on the site. I love the AdSense link unit placement... it REALLY fits in well and I'd imagine it'd already be getting a high CTR. I'd get rid of the AdSense unit under the navigation links and place it somewhere else (purely for aesthetic reasons). Design wise I think you could do a little better. It definitely needs a logo and I think the navigation links also need to be made into glossy, web 2.0-like buttons. The sub categories (movie trailers, funny videos etc.) can stay as is -- I just found the two rows of links slightly confusing. Good luck!
Good luck with this MFA site. I like the way the links are embedded at the top and look like natural navigation. Kudos to Google and yourself on that one. FactPile
