how to generate site map for Wordpress site

I have site that using wordpress.
I tried to generate sitemap for them using different sitemap generator but failed.

anyone can help?

Why don't use sitemap plugin like:

i aslo use the sitemap generator plugin, and it always work.
this one of great plugin to optimize you site/blog

 

dagondesign's sitemap generator gives me error when i try to validate it with google. help needed. using wordpress version 2.2.2

 

What's the error message?

 

first you to create sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gzip in your root directory and make sure the files is writeable

 

i have a paid software to create google site maps,it's really good

 

why to go for paid sitemap when u have a lot of plugins and sitemap generators available.

I think dagon site can do more than what a paid sitemap generators do ...

is there any special in that ..
if so tell me ..
