Here is one more news article in a long list this year that shows, contrary to what some members here at DP believe, that a declining dollar is not good news:http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071019/ap_on_bi_ge/stretching_paychecks

The problem with all these news articles is that they never get to the root of the problem.........they never explain why prices are going up......I wonder why that is.........

She should shop where Bernanke and Bush shop. I don't know where it is, but inflation there is only 3%

If you have money, and you want to protect it, I suggest you invest 15 to 20% in precious metals, or you may lose everything.

It seems like as time goes on, more news articles seem to reflect my views on the economy, as well as those such as Ron Paul, Paul Craig Roberts, and others. So many threads have been started on this issue this year, many of them by me. It is becoming harder to ignore the fact that the U.S. is in a serious economic decline.

I keep hearing that the U.S. "may" enter a Recession...........ummm, were are already in one, and actually, I think we will go into a Depression is the dollar keeps falling.

Here is an article from the Financial Times which talks about how the dollar is "overvalued", according to the IMF. This is a sophisticated strategy which is further designed to weaken the dollar:http://www.ft.com/cms/s/e87f070e-7c...ber2007/191007_open_attack.htm&nclick_check=1

I strongly advise you guys to consider buying gold and silver if you care about your financial future. The only people here at DP who try to debate me on the economy are so called "rich guys" with high incomes who think everything is ok because they're make $10,000 per month in Adsense.

Here is a news flash for those who think this: I don't care if you're making $40,000 per month in Adsense. If the U.S. dollar continues to decline, eventually, you to will feel the pain of a devalued currency. The poor people of America already know we're in a decline, they feel the heat. The so called wealthy haven't felt it yet.

I say "so called" because everyone in this forum who thinks they're rich are peons compared to the master global bankers that control the Fed, and print out the dollars we use........

I strongly advise you to consider buying gold and silver................because they may eventually stop exchanging silver or gold for dollars if the dollar continues to fall.

Yea, I need to make some really money and take your advice,

Have you invested into metals yet?

    And if so which ones,

This actually remind me of someone I know that is harvesting Iron ore, I wonder if its for the same reasons,

The USA economy is about to crash once again as well I think

What are your thoughts on that as well?

From my own personal experience that article is dead on how the majority is spending. I run several online retail stores, it used to be orders were pretty well spread out. Now we get huge dips at the end of the pay periods, and surges around pay down. It's insane the difference these time frames make, it never used to be this severe.

The dollar also effects me when I buy goods over seas. One product I get is from Turkey and they continue to raise my prices not because it's costing them anything more, the reason is always the dollar losing value.

Yes, I've already positioned myself properly, and I have both silver and gold. I have the $10 Liberty gold coins(worth over $570 each) and the Morgan Silver, Dollars, 90% Silver JFK Halves, and the Silver Mercury Dimes. I started buying precious metals in July, and I've already earned a return on my investment.

I buy mine through this company. At the bottom of the page, you can see the current price of gold, silver, and platinum in the markets:http://www.midasresources.com/

Sundaybrew, don't just take my advice on buying precious metals. You should read up on the topic, and understand why I'm saying this. Check out the following articles at Wiki:

I think the U.S. economy is about crash............but I do not think it is an accident, or it just happened by itself. Powerful International banking families have taken over the U.S. economy, much like a parasite or virus takes over a living organism.

While the U.S. dollar was once backed by silver, this link has since been broken, and now the Fed prints billions and billions of dollars, which causes inflation. Right now, we have almost $1 trillion dollars in world circulation, and the banks in China, Japan, and the Middle East have started to get rid of it.

I believe Venezuela is dumping the dollar as well. Basically what happens is, when the Fed prints too many dollars, the value of the dollar drops, which is basic economics(supply and demand). Because of this, the prices on everyday goods and services like food, energy, and housing continue to rise.

To add insult to injury the Fed then lowers interest rates, which further lowers the value of the dollar. Now, if you are China, Saudi Arabia, or Japan, and you have billions of dollars in your banks, and suddenly the Fed lowers the interest rate, this means the billions of dollars you hold are worth less than they were previously, and you can't by as much. This pisses off the foreign countries, and many have started to abandon the dollar.

The corrupt Fed has printed so many dollars into the circulation over the years that the dollar became the world's reserve currency. Up until the year 2000, the dollar didn't have any competition, that is, until the Euro, a New World Order created currency, came on the scene.

The Euro is designed to defeat the dollar, and wipe out the U.S. economy, because the dollar will lose its place as the world's reserve currency, and you've got all these foreign banks will billions of dollars that are losing value.

The decline of the dollar can cripple the Internet, because millions of transactions happen each day online in dollars. If the U.S. dollar continues to fall, I won't know what to pay my employees in. God, the New World Order pisses me off.

Anyway, the ultimate goal is to wipe out the dollar, then offer the Amero as a solution.

That is true in the first instance mate, we both know that their (NWO) main goal is to create a single global currency.

I'm extremely upset about the dollar situation..........anyone who is not upset about this is ignorant, and doesn't understand the economics of the situation.

The situation with the dollar is extremely serious, and I get so tired of hearing people try to downplay the problem, trying to say that it is "just a recession" or that it isn't a big deal.

The U.S. economy is getting raped so bad that I can't even described it properly. I can't articulate how much trouble we're in as a nation. I mean, you've got outsourcing, illegal immigrants flooding the job market, and the decline of the dollar all happening at the same time.

These people, the Globalists, they are no joke. These people really do make the mafia look like a bunch of peons. I mean, I've got people in my family, that when you mention buying gold and silver, its like huh? uh, what do we need gold and silver for?

I'm pissed off because American society is in decline. When you think about it, Americans have done so much. We invented the Airplane, the atomic bomb, the Internet, and all of this was because of the foundation this country stood upon, the Constitution and Bill of Rights. America was the only country were you could be born poor, and become a millionaire, billionaire, or famous through hard work and ingenuity.

But, as time goes on, we will see more scientific and technological discoveries being made in India, China, Japan, and the EU. America will decline and lose its role unless we can reverse the direction we're headed in.

Gold and Silver, if they were made official legal tender, would stabilize the prices of goods and services. Instead of a brand new car costing on average more than $12,000, with gold and silver, a car would cost well under $10,000.

Everything would become cheaper, houses, everything. While inflation will always exist, with silver and gold, it would be so minimal that it would be barely noticeable.

It makes me sick to see these powerful global bankers blow out the U.S. economy, and for the American Middle class to get wiped out, and so many people don't even know whats going on.

The general public is so ignorant, damn they are ignorant. Hardly anybody reads anymore, and it shows. I believe that life is a lot like the Matrix, and humans are blinded from seeing their true potential. The advancements in technology that are being made right now are astounding.
