Just like Mong said, Yahoo has a problem at the moment. They showed link from your own domain which, of course, we don't want to see.
I used Domain Dashboard to check my stats. Since it is able to login to the cpanels for all my domains and download the logs, it's only a matter of one click and that's it.
What is a webmaster interested in, when checking backlinks? Which good BLs he has and which good BLs his competitor has. Knowing exactly 'how many' BLs someone has is less important. So, a backlink checker which points out good backlinks - those which helped your or your competitor's site to rank high in SERPs - is wanted here. Good backlink (from Google's viewpoint) has appropriate anchor text, high PR, is 'follow', and it comes from the site which hasn't a lot of other external links. All this info you can get with Backlinkwatch. With Linkvendor BL checker you can get BLs listed according to PR (from high to low PR). Than you can simply look on the top of the list to see, where your competitor got links from - and you don't need to check thousands of other useless links he has. From Google's link:domain or Google WM tools you can't see which BLs are important for your SERPs (someone disagree?). Also not from Yahoo site explorer. ** With Google changing PR/SERPs relation and devaluating bought links, all what was said above, will no longer be true. It was true by now though.
Validrank uses the same script as Smartpagerank. Validrank seems to have some problems with Google BLs at the moment.
I'm using backlinkwatch.com, but I've discovered recently that the marking of 'nofollow' links doesn't seem to be working anymore. There are also problems with listings of internal links...
Dnscoop.com works pretty well for backlinks and a whole lot more info on any site. This one is WAY COOL. Gives you a graphical display of sites linking to you. touchgraph.com/TGGoogleBrowser.html Gregg
I would love to know for which particular case nofollow marking is not working. And issue of showing internal links is coming from Yahoo! not from BacklinkWatch.
Optilink by Leslie Rohde is by far the best inbound link analyzing software out there. I also use SEO Elite.
google is hiding 80% back links yahoo is not providing full detail i have tryed alltheweb serch its best for derchingback link alltheweb is providing full detail just type link:yoursite and serch click belove to chk example than click on more hits from to see detail sepret site links
I've sent you a PM describing when it occurs. I hope it helps. Regarding the internal links... doesn't it depend on what you're doing with the information you receive from Yahoo?
Aha ok. I use backlinkwatch almost every day. It's a great service that you've got. It would be even better if those Yahoo issues would be solved though.
Thanks for liking it Yahoo! had much more severe problems in last couple of weeks showing only 50 results. Though now they have resolved that issue but showing links from same URL is still persisting, I hope it would be resolved soon too. btw new sorting feature is added http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=528171
We use Yahoo Site Explorer, which we have found to be excellent. It's also better for a quick lookup. Google Webmaster Tools requires login, but also gives accurate results.
