Yep, that's annoying. As I commented on your blog
CJ still can't understand that they also lose a lot of money
having in mind that there are X.XXX.XXX people that have
installed on their PCs Spybot Search & Destroy.

FYI, redirects & cloaked links will not fix this. From what I understand, they block all access to the tracking domains via a hosts file (though I could be wrong). Not sure why Spybot is blocking CJ links, it's no different than any advertising.

From what I've seen, most users I know who run Spybot do not have the auto-immunize option turned on.

I can't remember right now but if the auto-immunize option is by default
switched ON you must be sure that most of the people use it :)

CJ links aren't blocked because they are advertisments.

What does that have to do with anything? CJ CANNOT implement a way to get around Spybot's immunization if Spybot S&D blocks the domains CJ uses. If it just prevents cookies, they could use IP tracking, but I'm under the impression that Spybot blocks the domains. Even CB can't get around a domain block.

yep it encourage u to use it.

It doesn't block the banner or the ad but it blocks the link/domain/cookie as in when you click on it it opens to a page not found type page.

I tried this with my install of IE7 which I immunized, and I was still able to click through my CJ banner and see the landing page... I immunized on Tuesday, did this update come out after that?

Curious if rover URLs are affected too, or is it just the CJ specific links?

I'm guessing this doesn't affect our eBay rover links?

That's true - you can see the banner but the link doesn't work

As I see everything is fine with rover links

So you're immunized, and rover links still work?

Correct! Only CJ domains don't work: apmebf, dpbolvw, tkqlhce etc.

Well, I guess that's good! Seems like it's only a matter of time before Spybot nukes rover too.

Well that's some good news at least :) I'd love to see SpyBot take on the bid E. Somehow I don't think it's going to happen.

It might be time to start an email campaign/petition directed at the makers of SpyBot S&D. I've used SpyBot in the past, and have recommended it to many people - but blocking CJ domains makes them look ridiculous. And they need to know it.

@ xboxundone : Time to put up a petition or email form on your blog :D
