The both Webalizer and Google analytics show some increase my site's traffic for last three months. Despite it the Alexa ranking drops dramatically from 1.100.000 to 2.200.000 .What is the cause?

Your traffic may have well gone up and your Alexa ranking gone down, basically your alexa ranking comes only from folk who have the alexa toolbar installed, so if two or three of your regulars who had it installed have un-installed it or stopped visiting your site, your ranking will drop pretty sharp, pretty quick

The alexa stats are far from accurate, it's just a toy really. Your hosting stats and analytics will be the corret figures.

Basically if someone visits your site without the alexa toolbar on his IE browser, he is not counted as a visitor....

At the same time if your competitor installs Alexa on all the computers in his office, set up his website as homepage etc., he will fly fast ahead of you in terms of Alexa rank even if you actually have more visitors than him...

So while Alexa may be useful to impress the advertisers, in terms of relevance of traffic it doesn't come even close to the analytics softwares out there.

Just because your stats are going up, doesn't mean your Alexa rank is going to follow. You have to see how well your competition is doing. In order to move up, a site has to be pushed down, and that was obviously your site. ;)

Yes it would help but the impact of your single use is not going to push you through the roof...

Or maybe Google had make some changes for updating their PR ?
    Just my wild guess.

Bomberman? Why you said like that? I thought Alexa was the great radar for checking our traffic. Please give your strong reason about your statement.
