Some people say there is no need to know about history and need not to study history book. They argue about that history give us nothing and we live in modern age so here no reason to know our history. What do you think?

I think it is very important to know history , to know one's roots. To know how and why a country prosper and decline. Lessons learnt from the past can be used in the future. Wisdom of the past can enlighten us.

To know where you are going, have to know where you have been.
