Ok, I put a quick Political (Controversial) Design together. What are your thoughts on the Iran / Russia / U.S. matter?

Just so we are on the same page, here's what the image portrays to me & why i designed it:

George W. Bush's Caption states that " Iran is Posing a threat to the WORLD by exploring nuclear Energy & I intend to do something about it" Bush has expressed his concern that IRAN is Only exploring Nuclear Power for Weapons of mass destruction development. While Khamenei reiterates that the Main reason for the research is for Power Plants and a better way of life for his people.

Putin's Caption states " I think you are over doing it, Even I know better than that!" was on one end humor from some of the past Soviet Governing decisions along with the Fact that U.S. officials have long accused Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons behind the facade of a civil atomic energy program, charges Tehran denies. Putin bluntly disagrees, saying last week that he saw no "objective data" to prove Western claims that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons.

Khamenei's caption states: " Afghanistan, Iraq, & Now Iran, Am I the only one seeing a pattern here?" A dull stab a humor at the expense of all the middle easterners (& Other supporting countries around the world) that Blame the U.S. for invading without due cause & uncircumstantial proof to back up their claims.

So, now we have 3 views, 3 leaders, & another so called War / invasion on the brink being sought after as we speak.

What are your views on that?

I swear I just seen this post somewhere but I will say what I said there already...

wow crazy topic first thing in the morning. I literally can't believe with communications and technology we just aren't getting along better. We can now communicate with each other in so many different ways it's sad the only people are fighting is our governments and it's not even us. We sit here and get along great inside many major forums talk socially and never argue that much anyways. I really don't think the war is about the people anymore I think it's about the government, money and this isn't fair to us. We need to speak out, get heard somehow because there's no reason we all can't get along.

Were really a small world if you think about it!

ok, this is the green eye, was it the blue eye, red eye, peach eye, black eye, or one of the red & black scorpions? either way, I normally debate on 5-10 forums at a time when I get in a mood or it's that time of the month again... :) so chances are you have seen one of my eye's or scorpions around in the forum world.. lol

I think both amadenaJIHAD and Putin want WW3...Putin has been putting russia into the midst of another cold war for months now. Its basically just one more big arms race. Just like this morning Syria came out and admitted they have nukes...a surprise? nah...wonder where they got them?

on BBC news it was stated that bush had said something about WW3, with regard to iran getting in bed with russia.
my understanding is that iran has made concessions to russia over ownership of the oil rich caspian seabed, and in return russia is promising to help iran with it's nuclear programme.
in any case with russia backing iran, and china in the wings, it seems more and more improbable that the west will attack iran, which i doubt would have happened anyway.
putin has much more to gain from firming up relations with oil rich iran than from forging ties with the west. though where this leaves chechnya, whose people had support from muslim sympathisers in iran, god only knows!

Putin wins either way, if we attack Iran the price of oil will jump to 120-130 a barrel. Russia wins. We threaten to attack they sell Iran air defense missiles. Russia wins.

I think if we are going to Focus on the Resources side of War (Being a primary tool of reasoning). It needs to be clear that each country does NOT have unlimited resources, they eventually dry up & the country will then be forced to either import or take control over oil bearing land.

Without these resources, technologically advanced societies would Crumble (E.G. US, Russia, China, Japan, UK, Etc.). If a country lost it's ability to access Oil all the Manufacturing plants, Vehicles, Plastic products, Military, Etc. would stop & or shut down.

    This would cause:

1.) The forced survival of a countries society & re-adaption to living without what they have become so used to (In most cases, wouldn't know how to survive in the elements, thus leading to death)

2.) Unemployment / Starvation / Eviction - Leading to higher crime rates & eventually Death.

3.) The Lose of Technology & any power the country may have had in the world (Thus being forced into a 3rd world status & becoming vulnerable to attacks / takeovers).

At some point, even once it's too late in some cases & can't be reversed, people will have to realize that Technologically advance societies that are Dependant on the procurement of resources in order to sustain their way of life are going to have resort to WAR - Eventually -

Otherwise the above 3 mentioned Will happen (And More).

I only see 2 solutions in the resources arena:

1.) As a government, they should Be Honest with their people & explain the importance of the resources in order to continue living the life they live with the technological luxury's they use daily. That way, at least more people understand the Need for war in order to survive.

2.) Put more effort into alternative fuels research & development, slowly transitioning to a more peaceful state without the need for as much war to survive. (Of course, war will still happen - seems to be in our nature -)

Of course this is all just based off the prior focuses on OIL / Resources being a primary player, there of course are other factors.

Those kooky Russians! Negotiating wins through diplomacy and trade! What a nutty idea! Why don't they just invade everyone in the Middle East? That is a way better foreign policy...

Funny you mentioned it, actually Russia tried to invade Afghanistan & Failed already. So rather than try again, they simply decided to sell them weapons... The U.S. came across more Soviet weapons than our own during that controversy. (Yes, The U.s & Russia are both one of the largest arms dealers, Russia being #1 of course)

Life would be so much better in the Middle East if both Syria and Iran had nukes.

Nothing stops people like Bush, Cheney and the rest of the neocons from trying to take over another country than knowing that country has nukes, look at how they stopped bullying N.Korea. ;)
