My SEO friends, question to you. I had some one write me 10 articles on a particular subject. I'm slightly confused on few things: 1. How many copies of the same article can i submit to different article directories? 2. Should i also be posting these articles on my website as a blog entries? All of these articles are related to the website im working on but im not sure about the duplicate fact of this. Please any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
1. You can submit same articles on different article directories, but you should not submit duplicate copies in the same directory. Put your copyright info and link of main blog at the bottom of each article posted in article directories. 2. Yes you can. But you know duplicate content has less value. It wouldn't be a good decision. You can write some special articles for your own blog.
I think there's no problem with posting your article on your blog. Just make sure that the article is indexed first by search engine before submitting it to article directories.
I would wait for your articles to get indexed by Google before you submit the articles to article directories, like Hersheys said. If you wanted to get the most out of your time, I would put the original content on your website, and then rewrite the content for article directories. That way you will benefit from SEO from two sources, not just one.
