For the 3rd year in a row I've joined some friends for haunted houses and hay rides. Why???!!!! It costs a small fortune and I never get scared at all. Do any of you actually find it remotely scary to go to these things?
Haunted Houses sometimes get me, but hayrides, not so much. I want to go on a walking tour of hunted places in NY (where I live) this year, to see the "real" hunted sites.
There is a hunted house in Syria, it's closed down by the government. Whenever someone buys the house, he ends up dead in a week. Pretty scary, we always pass by there and see all kind of weird stuff.
Wow... where in syria? Im visiting syria soon for religious reasons soon (I hope) Btw haunted houses are somewhat scary, the goods ones. Rest are just lame
I haven't done either since I was a kid. It would probably be fun just to hang out with friends, but I think the haunted house/hay rides would be more laughable than scary. But Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays, and I don't really get into it.
haunted house are scary in a way.. but i never really encountered such ghost yet.. so for me its all in the mind..
My friend loves them because he puts together a "haunted house" in his garage every year. His dog even "helped" this year by digging a huge hole beside the garage, so my friend put a grave marker by the hole to make it part of the haunted house set. Pretty cool! People come from all over the neighborhood to see it.
I think kids get the biggest thrill out of both. Only fun as an adult if you have your kids with you.
