Guys it's clear that 850$ for link is expensive , but please consider that it is a link from PR9 homepage , probably I'll not buy it because it's expensive for my pocket , but I think that it worth it . If this tool is accurate http://www.thinkbling.com/prcalc/index.php you'll find that 1PR9 link has as much strenght as 14 PR7 links (for same amount of outbound links )
one thing it is expensive. second thing if your stop paying you lose the link and possibly your rank. third if google would discount that paid links you gain nothing. that site won't be penalize by google just that they won't pass link juice so you loose and that site still laughing and having fun.
Not entirely true, with several PR7 links you have alot more anchor weight and also PR9's are pretty high profile to Google. So you run the risk of having the one link discounted and recieving no value, but by diversifying with several links you can afford to have one caught and devalued. If you are buying it for Pagerank alone so you can get a high PR and sell links... You need to purchase the link for minimum 3 months, so that's $2,500 to see some green. You will get PR6 or 7, so recouping your investment is a big risk for little return. Google might take 6 months to update again, so that's a 5k outlay, or worse still they might drop PR completely.
Personally I wouldnt waste your or my money buying links from anywhere. There's far better ways to rank well without spending that sort of money on link purchases.
I defintely wouldn't spend that much on a PR9. Google has technology to discount certain links on certain pages. I believe Matt discussed something about this: saying that even edu and gov pages are exploited (purchasing links) by webmasters to get a boost in their rankings. So, for all you know, you could be spending $900 on a link that isn't passing any PR juice.
you see... every pr9 site, google knows infact... i know about 200 off the top of my head since im a bit of an seo junkie. were talking - ebay, exite, gamespot, cnet, flickr, google uk, jabum, intel, java, linux, perl, php, phpbb ect... see.... google knows all these are pr9 and stuff, they know that jalbum, phpbb, linu ect.. sell links and flickr, ebay, intell ect.. dont, they know that people just buying links on these sites are just doing it t manipulate serps.
Hi to all, if I'm reading all the talk about buying these overpriced PR9's. Have to say one thing - sites PR9 + PR8 are really closely watched by google now. And even if you buy link from these sites the value of their PR hardly goes to you. It looks like obvious paid link. Again its about relevancy... Agree that PR 7 are safe playground for all of us! dom
That is so not worth it, don't buy the link. I would never spend that much money on anything like that, ever. Besides, PageRank isn't so important anymore. You won't get the value for your money, I can guarantee it.
Pagerank is very important. Your links will get more attention from a high pr page/website then a bunch of junk backlinks for sure. As for paying 850$ you would need to keep the backlink there for quarter year I think to get a pagerank increase from it.. Becuase Google updates the pagerank quarterly.
Its not worth it. If you really want a PR9 link you can get one on the W3C supporters page for $1,000 a year, which is a lot less than the link you're talking about: http://www.w3.org/Consortium/sup
The page has a Meta INDEX, NOFOLLOW attribute which means no juice sorry. The Supporters page itself will show in the SERP's, but there's no benefit by one of these links besides traffic. Just to show Google is well aware of all the Pagerank 9 & 10 links, Matt Cutts talks about the W3C Supporters link page in the last few paragraphs of this interview. Really it's not worth buying a PR9 link period, unless you are doing it based on the traffic alone.
I know that google is monitoring paid links now , but I think that they can't figure if the link is paid or not ( if sale was private ) , if the anchor text and link's page have relevant content
I have a lot better ways to spend that money and a PR9 link is not one of them. You can find free PR6 links if you get creative. I would hate to spend that type of money on a pr9 link without knowing how its getting its "juice", PR is over rated in my book.
Huh i know a lot of pr9 sites where you can get much cheaper backlink.Unless he can provide a lot of traffic with it,it doesnt worth it.
