Web Goro is a webmaster and community administrator resource forum. I have been working on getting it back to what I originally had it going. I currently don't get a whole lot of traffic, except for the few occasional lurkers from google who sign up to ask a question and then get it answered and leave. It used to have a somewhat stream of traffic due to Admin Fusion's Post Fusion (I am working on getting it back up in rank to boost it again) Anyways, let me know what your thoughts are, or any suggestions.
Hi there, My immediate thoughts were that the design is way too basic. I know it's only a forum, but a forum with a nice, clean design is pleasing to the eye and thus enjoyable to post on. You should be able to find plenty of vBulletin themes. Also, change the logo and color scheme -- I'm probably biased but I'd never post on a forum with a dark-ish color scheme. Everything else is fine. Just on the ads though, I'd scrap the AdSense unit just below the logo. It's ugly and would rarely ever receive clicks (I presume it's CTR is less than 1% at the moment?).
I got a new skin, made a logo based on the one that came with it. The ad below the logo on the other skin is gone. Anyone else's opinion is appreciated too as it helps out a lot
Simple and nice design, good work. I think you could add some more explanations on your Webmaster Tools page. Provide more details (exact description) of the info you offer, and add something like "all with one click"
I will be working on that. In fact I should've done that when I re-did parts of it. I will probabally include ads as soon as I think of a good spot to place them.
