I have this problem recently in one phplinkbid directory (not the one in my signature): people submit the link and complete the payment through paypal, but it's applied and the link doesn't appear in the dir, only in the admin area and there's no way to add the bid manually. So any idea what to do with it? Anyone ever had this problem? thanks ~MG
Make sure the paypal email used is the primary email on your PP account. Make sure you set your URL in admin panel to have a trailing / in site config. Make sure IPN is enabled in auction config. You can manually add a bid in admin panel. if i bid $10 for a link, go to manage bids, create bids, use the email i submitted with, my link and my bid amount.
is it hosted on godaddy? if it is, then there is a godaddy fix available on the phplinkbid forum, try it! i have the same problem on one of my bidding directory, i have tried everything but nothing actually worked, hopefully tekime will take out some time for us!
Tekime take some time? he only shows his face when theres $$$ up for grabs. support stinks at phpLB and people like me have to go around helping people.... itsa nice script that you pay good money for but its a shame it has no support at all...
Mikey i have already suggested same thing to him through PM just rightafter he posted this thread Glad that members helping each other
yep, thanks to Don I managed to solve it quickly by creating the bid manually. Although I'm still trying to figure out why it didn't work automatically, it used to be working fine until recently. thanks everyone for the suggestions ~MG
atleast you are arround, so it is easy for me am sure when the tekime's baby grows a bit old, he will have some time for us,
Mikey you have really contributed a lot to this script, I don't understand why the support is so poor to such an excellent script. I also just made a blog post on the same, hope that this will wake up the PhpLB Admin. http://www.directorytotal.com/phplinkbid-14-beta-bidding-directory-script-launch-still-pending/ Amit
